It seems HUKD boiler is broken at the moment and the heating system is not working well. Heat added though, although it is not being counted.
You've read my mind, just set up my desk but in need of a good gaming chair. Been looking everywhere but no matter the price they've had mixed reviews.
Can't gaming chairs just be like, you know, a normal chair? I'd be all over this if it didn't look like someone skinned a power ranger!

EDIT: So it turns they can.

The black version doesn't have the same head support - It is flatter.
Is this chair any good? Was eyeing up the trak racer and GT chairs but they are like 160 odd
hmm looks like a good deal. considering getting one of these to finally give my back a break from using the fold away like the design on the red but prefer the colours on the black and white. hmmm decisions
Bought 6 for the dining table... Thanks OP
Does anyone know if these are reclined a little and cannot be made more upright ? - It is hard to tell from the pictures.

You must work in a sad office if you can't have a coloured chair on castors.

Then your office obviously isn't cool enough for this chair.

I think the red and black actually looks really good. I am seriously tempted but struggling to justify it, if only I could get the price down a bit further, I know there's quidco but that takes months if they actually pay out. Anyone tried this through Flubit? I can't cos I'm not an elite member but tempted to become one if it yields a good enough discount on this....
I'm pretty average build, most likely on the skinnier side for my age but a chair like this would kill my backside after a fair few hours. I have a Bariatric office chair X) just for the comfort, highly advise it anyone likes to sit in front their PC for 6+ hours on a sunday!

Not in my experience

Its all chinese junk, bit of extra padding to make it look nicer but in the end the chair will fail. I've had enough of these £40-£70 chairs in my time to know! they all fail after 6 - 12 months use

The tilt is usually the first to go, which causes it to go back at a slight angle which really messes with your back

In the end i bought this one:

http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/80309731/#/20103101

It's a lot more expensive but you will not be sorry that you spent the extra in the long run. I've had it over 5 years now and its just the same as when i first bought it.

I had that one for years, it was a great chair.

I still have it in the loft and use it while pottering around up there. My cats destroyed the leather head rest unfortunately Super comfy if I remember correctly.

Yea brilliant chairs mate, i have been through so many of these budget chairs to know that they just dont last. They pretty much all come from China and the base is so weak it just fails eventually. I must have had 5 of them in total.

Then i read some reviews about the IKea one on here and took the plunge, think i paid £120 but it was the best money ive spent.

For anybody interested in this gaming chair....they have been around this same price for years.....

I bought this chair for my housemate about 7 months ago and he still loves it.

He plays PC games most evenings so it gets a lot of use and has stood up well to it. I'd definitely buy it again, even though I was a bit cautious to begin with. We bought it for £79.99 from eBuyer too, so this is hot from me.

Thats probably just the curve of the backrest to aid correct posture
I'm torn these look good but then they don't recline that Ikea link is dead.......I got the email from ebuyer and came on here to see peoples opinion on these. I work from home but would also use it for gaming so could do with just a good comfy chair........Don't mind shelling out if its decent enough.
Sorry tried other link and its fine......

Ikea Markus chair all day long. Had one for years, the perfect mix of comfort and affordability. They can compete with Herman Miller on comfort whilst still being affordable. Nice find though OP. Heat added.
