"I know its not usb 3 but seems cheap and its flash memory that limits speed so been USB 2 not much of issue."

That's not true - a USB3.0 flash drive is ALOT faster than USB2.0. Data transfer speeds of flash memory can easily exceed the maximum bandwith for the USB2.0 interface. Newer flash drives (typically USB3.0) also tend to have faster DRAM controllers etc.

I have a Sandisk UBS3.0 nano flash drive and its significantly faster than the same USB2.0 version. Always get the fastest interface that you can find as there's not much difference in price. Also you'll find that the big memory brands have vertically integrated interfaces, controllers, DRAM, better memory algorithms etc, all of which tend to result in faster performance than generic brands who use a mixture of different third party components to make the flash drive.

Did say its not usb 3 but similar spec 64gb usb 3 is twice the price .If the speed of usb 2 is ok for some one then I think this is just as good .Also most USB 3 flash drives are limited by memory speed so the USB 3 is not really much of advantge
Quite few USB 2 drives are faster than some USB 3 drives

Once the fingerprint has been set up using a PC can this used and unlocked on an Android device using fingerprint?

Does this require software to be installed on the PC to operate

Just when thought seen a lot of gadgety things along comes another, them bods must be working there proverbials off.

It must do , it says windows supported and there must be interaction to get up to 5 peoples fingerprints recognised.
Here's YouTube vid ...

Yea but what happens if the finger print recognition breaks down. Is there another way to get access to your files?

Thanks...seems this isn't the Chinese niche product I assumed it would be. The video is good...the software looks good...it's unclear though if the software is only needed for setup or if it needs to be installed (or executed if it's portable) on any machine you want to use it on. Hopefully you don't need to do either as it becomes a bit of a cybersecurity risk if you do. Companies are ultra sensitive these days.

At the risk of sounding smug....We should be backing up anyway...everything breaks down eventually. In my experience it's not that uncommon with USB sticks. Had a couple fail completely on me...Have a SanDisk 32gb dual usb and OTG stick that failed...computer (more than one) said it needed reformatting. Worked again after...but don't really trust it now. Yes I had a backup. Was it current? Not really.

Tel me about it! Ive got Drupe app on my S6 and a very important recorded call but phone constantly reboots and I cant get it off and I need to sent my phone for repair, gutted

I wouldn't touch Geekbuying with a bargepole.

I ordered an android box with 3GB of memory and 32GB of storage only to be sent an email by support telling me that the item had been discontinued and they'd send me out a 1GB./16GB variant instead.

I've mailed support a dozen times telling them that i didnt want an inferior version and 3/4 weeks later the wrong item arrived at my home.

I've paid for something i never asked for and don't particularly want.

I knew this stick was too good to be true...

Got it. Works really well.
That fingerprint bypass thing posted above is from 2008.
Doubt it applies to this stick from 2017.
Looks like the protected content is only viewable in Windows because it launches the fingerprint program to unlock when inserted.
