I've been on the lookout for a treadmill for ages. Been looking at treadmills on Argos, prices seems to change regularly to over inflated RRP price and then down on "Sale". Most of the offers seem to be on Treadmills with Max speed of 16kmph. I'd like faster speed for interval training. This seems to be an Argos own brand treadmill (obviously not worth £1199 RRP) but seems a good deal to me, based on 20kmph speed, large running deck and 3.5hp motor. I cannot find ANY reviews online for this treadmill. Very tempted but would like to see some reviews or some advice from others. Currently on the "Black Friday" offers.

was very tempted by the Reebok One GT60 (20 Km/hr) on Argos last week @ £649.99 but jumped back up to £1399.99
Take a jog down to Argos and see if its in stock.
Treadmill deals get the usual predictable replies - "try running outside" etc. I already run 50+ miles a week outside but use a treadmill for most miles over the winter as I live in the Scottish Highlands and we are battered with snow/gales/icey roads regularly.

Happy for negative comments if this is a bad deal, but this isn't about the pros or cons of running on a treadmill. I have had a treadmill for years (motor burnt out) and looking for a new treadmill with high km/ph speed. I am motivated to run on a treadmill - It will not be a "clothes horse".

Comments on "the deal" please.

Thanks
Fair enough. They do have their uses.
