Price of these appears to be inflated pretty much everwhere. Appears to be one of the cheapest prices on Scan.

They are accepting orders however they might not be able to deliver until July. Either way I'm not in a rush and can wait for delivery at this price.

All Elgato stuff has gone through the roof. I sold my old first gen Elgato game capture for £80 last week
Can you use this to stream ps4 & xbox games?

Can you use this to stream ps4 & xbox games?

Technically speaking you can because you the CAM LINK has the HDMI IN port which allows you plug HDMI cable from your console into the Cam Link card, but the issue is you need the HDMI OUT port to then connect a HDMI from the card to the TV so you can also see and play the game on your TV screen to (as you normally would).

You should get a capture card instead if you you want to record/stream your PS4 games, as you need the HDMI IN and HDMI OUT ports (which they have and the CAM Link does not)

Only get the CAM Link if you are planning to capture footage directly from your camera (or stream footage from your camera) onto your PC.

everything computer related has gone through the roof. i,e capture card, webcams, microphones, boom arms, green screens and stream lights. We are living in a new age due to this pandemic
Also if you happen to be using a Canon or Fuji camera and are looking at this both those companies have released software to be able to use their cameras as a webcam so check the compatible lists before trying to get this. This is a great price for this though the cam link works so easily with everything.
wow good find, thank you!

Sony have done the same.

You could just use an HDMI splitter though

Any idea on how you access this? I've searched but all I find are details about the old 'remote camera control'. I've got an RX-100 and wanted an Elgato but not as much as I want to save £125.

Software - sony.co.uk/ele…957
Only certain models supported - support.d-imaging.sony.co.jp/app…es/
I suspect you'd need bot remote shooting & display live view for it to work.

This does appear to be back in stock at Amazon too however for a slightly higher price of £132.06.

For around £7 you can get it from Amazon by next week as opposed to Scan who will get it to you before the end of July

Thanks for the tip, I'm sure I looked a while ago and Fuji didn't have this feature. Just downloaded the software to give it a go.

I've been using the Canon software for work and it works fine for video calls but I wouldn't recommend it for live streaming, the frame rate isn't great. Still probably worth having a go with and it's cool that camera manufacturers put out software for this at a time when buying webcams and stuff is a nightmare!
Mine arrived this morning, works perfectly with my DSLR and GoPro too!

Or if you are using dual monitors just put your capture stream on the second monitor.
I ordered directly from the Elgato website. Was shipped directly from Taiwan by DHL. 2 weeks in total. Billed in £. No customs duties.
Does this do 4k live view?

That's not the same as Canon and Fuji, that's a workaround using the remote liveview on the camera (not something new either) and I've had problems with some software accepting the virtual camera driver. The Fuji solution allows the camera to be seen as a webcam so you simply go into your software and choose the camera, there's no need for an intermediate streaming solution. I really wish Sony would offer a proper webcam solution as I've gone with them for video use so would be handy to be able to reuse them as a webcam.
i have it since march and it is very usefull . having an action wide camera as a web camera is impressive ! My mac mini becomes very hot when i use it though
