Cheap as chips, although they are not advised if you intend on using this for good purposes.
I own one of these, far from 'Extremely quiet'...
these are not quiet when you pedal fast!! ok if your not in the same room as somebody watching tv etc.. i paid £80ish last year for one the bkool trainer is one of the best and has loads a tracks to ride and also makes it harder to pedal when going uphills!!

Just copied the blurb from the website, will remove the quiet from the OP. thanks
I use one for occasionally training and racing using Zwift (2 months free with Strava Premium). It does the job for me but in no way can it be described as quiet.
cheers chanchi, been after one of these for a while, ideal when the weathers bad and i cant get out on my bike

I have a Carrera subway which I have fitted with slimmer profile tyres - 26" wheels I think they are 1.5" schwalbe city jet

how difficult will this be to set up with this? novice cyclist.

I've been toying with getting one for a while and decided to upgrade to the Elite Mag Force Elastogel pack at £99 which is also eligible for the 10% off as it should be slightly quieter than the basic model and wasn't much more once I'd added the bits in. Got one reserved at my local

It should be easy enough. It should come with a different quick release which will fit the trainer but you really should get a turbo/trainer tyre as it'll burn out your normal tyre very fast (the part the tyre touches heats up as you use it so burns out a normal tyre).

Personally I keep a second rear wheel with a training tyre fitted so I only swap that out as and when rather than swapping tyre each time.
the schwalbe are pretty slick as they are...
Thanks for this, just ordered a different model, the Elite Magnetic Force Trainer Pack for £63, My mum in law mentioned she bought this last week as a pressie for £89!!! So I ordered a new one, and we'll take back the £89 after Christmas. She's over the moon that I just managed to save her £26.
work with 29" wheels?
Thanks OP, ordered one and a trainer tyre.

Don't forget quidco and British Cycling discount.

Is there much between the two to justify the price difference?
I'm about to buy.
Thanks.
I've not read the descriptions, but I believe the pack comes with whatever you need to hold the wheel on, which is around £12 by itself.
Disappointed..... Went to the shop and found that it won't work with 26 inch wheels. Clearly my legs are too short (but the body is too long....). It was a bikes only Halfords so I assume (!) that the assistant knew what he was talking about.
