Cheers for posting this wouldn't have found it over wise
I'm intrested in one of these, but not sure i like to spend that muvh money, for somethink i might hardly use. Does any one know any products which are avaible for a cheaper price?
I read that these cause your tyre so degrade, from heat produced. How long are we talking about, any information would be appreciated. Lee

Try using the 'Advanced Search' link at the bottom of the page instead, it actually works!

I usually put the 'Find Posts From' to 2 weeks ago, select the Deals option in forums, and enter the search term, and it works perfectly. The standard search box at the top of the page is just completely useless....
Have a look on Wiggle too - they were selling some higher end Elite trainers off before Christmas - I scored an Elite Inertial turbo trainer. The liquid filled ones are smoother and quieter than the solely magnetic versions. Still a pretty good deal though.

it is worth paying more for the fluid ones if you live in a flat. They are much quieter.

good for you!

save your money then. That's is a good deal.

There are special tyres for turbo trainers known as indoor, made of special compound which won't heat up or have the tread separation that normal tyres are prone therefore they last longer
