Good spot, had this for a couple of years on a cheap android handset, 512mb ram and is updated regularly by the dev. He has a couple of other earlier app's including a system info one, that is pretty cool as well.

Will be adding this pro version for free to some other GP emails as £0.59p saving is 59p!!!

Poweramp is better.

Poweramp is dead, it hasn't been updated since 3rd September 2016. Used to always be my go-to music player but it doesn't work properly in Android 8.

I've been using Pulsar for a couple of months but i'm trying a few others out (AIMP, BlackPlayer and NRG Player) to see what I prefer.

Tempted to try others though power amp has been rock solid for my needs for teaching Spinning Classes. I guess I'll need to give those a test. Thanks bud.

Are these better than Play Musice? That seems to suit my needs.
Been using Poweramp pro for years (android 6)
Tried others but always come back to poweramp
Phonograph>>>>
I have a collection of music apps but just use Samsung Music.

Don't think I got on with the Poweramp interface. I don't want back to close the app right away - but to actually go back through the navigation I followed. Have the same issue with Tidal.
any recommendations to apps that will stream like airplay? Double Twist has a good music interface and capable equaliser but im reluctant to pay for pro to get the Airplay features

Thanks OP!

Well I tried the others but Pulsar wins hands down for ease of use and features.
