Not that sensational a spec., but still an amazing price. Heat definitely added!

Rubbish CPU, 810 place at passmark.com thats too slow even for skype video call...rubish...

Can't be bad for a basic PC. My folks could us this for basic browsing, email. It's all they do anyway....

What the hell do you want for £100? this is a small PC for basic internet / word and maybe tv on demand.

Have been reading up and the GPU is based on a 8200/8300 so should be good to go for some 1080p.
Could be the cheapest XBMC machine yet?
Also read this is overclockable but not sure on exact tools used.

If i'm up at 9:00 I might buy one. I expect theyll all be gone shortly after 9 though.

It's actually more than £100 if you need Windows.

Good price ,but thats if you happy old technology and performance

I'm sure most people would be intending to use this as a Media PC, but it doesn't handle 1080p very well.

Just a warning there, before you bitches start your bitching.

Might try to get hold of one anyway, if only to use it as a file server...

Cold cos Ebuyer will just refund your money the day after, claiming they've run out of stock, while still selling them at the retail price.

Was just looking for something to host my Squeezebox server. Does anyone know if it does Wake on LAN?

So will this run XBMC okay?

I realise this is a "heads up" and likely to sell out quickly tomorrow, but this site is really about currently available deals, not "upcoming deals"....

definately buying this, will make a great little home linux server

Was very tempted to go for this for just £100, but pretty scathing reviews are putting me off, e.g.:

maximumpc.com/art…iew

I wouldn't expect this to play the latest games or anything like that, but it looks like even youtube is beyond its abilities. I guess it has its place if all you want to do is type letters and send emails, really not good for much more than that, though.

hot from me.

Not really; the upcoming deals for the supermarkets are always posted on here a day or two before they go live, nobody complains.

I did wonder why they had put the price up from £150...

However, I was able to update the Adobe Flash player on the system via download to Flash1 10.1. After the upgrade 720p videos and 1080p videos ran smoothly. So when you get the ER1402-05 home, make sure you update Flash right away.

If the op had waited until the deal was 'live' it would have been sold out before they had a chance to post it - really useful

It's not as good as an iPad!! Only joking, I had to get it in before one of the many fanboys that seem to spoil ALL the tablet, phone and compluter posts come on and start doing the usual comparisons (_;)

Currently showing 50 in stock (at the current price of £229.99) so I would guess thats the number they are going to sell for £99 tomorrow.
Edited by: "KTF" 26th Apr 2011

If can get it for that price I think it a hot deal.

looking at some reviews it struggles with even hd youtube, still a bargain but not for me

Anyone got one.. will it do 1080p? My acer r3700 doesn't do BBC HD in Windows 7 for some reason. Tried lots of different drivers and flash installs etc.

Its not bad, its basically all of what you pay for it.. I doubt I would pay more than £100 for it anytime.
Good for the kids homework or to check emails etc but as I say I don't think its worth more than £100.

any idea what time it goes on sale?

I wish the acer revo was around this price.

Hot deal.

stick this on the back of a cheap 22-24" monitor and it'd make a great space-saver runaround PC

I am defo buying at least 3 as it will perfect for the kids bedrooms and use it as a BT FTP NAS etc etc server. as it does use very little power !!!!!!

just want to get a confirmation on this anyone this is true or not a link about the deal or ar anything trought ebuyer as i cannot see anywhere where its says at 9.00am we will be selling this at this?
