Both Dixons & Pixmania list this exact model as having a HDMI output despite the ebay listing stating otherwise.

Genuinely interested in this revelation. Can you provide any links? I'll happily purchase one myself.

FYI - Pixmania lists this exact laptop as having HDMI (tv-out) but I did not want to risk including this in the listing just in case. See here:

Edit: also listed with HDMI @ Dixons: dixons.co.uk/gbu…tml

Not a bad spot but the sainsburys deal gets my vote

Again good price but the one above at sainsburys is worth the bit extra. Added heat though as may suit some.

Can someone pass the vouchers mentioned above?

Link to vouchers on TehJumpingJawa's post

Can't see you getting much better than this for £250,looks fine for everyday use, nice find.

Cold - I can get an i7 with 8Gb ram, 1TB hard drive, 2Gb graphics, W7 Enterprise edition, Bluray burner and 17" full HD 3D screen for less with Nectar points and 20% quidco. And I won't provide a single link to substantiate my claim.

oh on the other hand

it's HOT

is the samsung E452 for £350 a better deal than the above deals as iam leaving the house in about 1 hour to go and buy it.

Agree the i3 for a bit more is better.

only 2 sold on ebay when i checked a short time ago

Good deal - it outperforms any netbook, but it is probably not quite as good as my (much dearer) ultraportable.

If this is your price point, go for it. Otherwise I agree that the i3 is probably worth paying a bit more, but remember to also budget at least 4 GB of memory.

Appreciate the comments and I do agree in one respect. If my budget was £300 I would go for the i3 and I would encourage others with the same budget to consider the i3. With a budget of £250 I would go for this model. If you spend £40-£49 more for the i3 you'll receive a superior product. I think the same general idea (spend more, get more) applies to every product range out there.

For £250... Bargain.... No good saying spend this and that to get a better machine...

Grab some and sell em on and make yourself some £££

maxmix

Can anyone advise please if the
Toshiba C660-125 15", T3500 Is as good a machine as the Sainsbury one at £299.
