Instore only? Do you have a pic or receipt ?
It's amazing for the price! but it will need another GB of RAM which shouldn't be any more than 10-20

Be warned it's not the fastest machine in the world, but perfect for internet, email, office watching movies viewing pictures etc...

I think this will get hot!
its a bigger version of a netbook. celeron 900 is poor.

but a good price nonetheless

Yes instore. I have a receipt as just bought one today.
I don't think ANY laptop is intended for gamers but perfect little machine for normal use
What store are they in as this is a very good deal. I have just rang every store in Lancashire and all out of stock. My dad has just paid over £300 for it and it runs excellent. merry xmas
Heckmondwyke, West Yorks. About 40 miles away from you. They still had some left.
Of-course this is a bargain... if you can find one.

Not really, its store specific!

with only a gig of ram and a cellery 900, it's basically a bigger screen netbook, so TBH it's not that much of a bargain... definitely consider spending an extra £50 for 2G ram and/or faster CPU.

not voting hot or cold.
if anyone knows of any other stores with some could you post please. thanks
A reasonable price for basic computing
The CPU is fine for everything but gaming and is in an entirely different league to the Atoms found in netbooks.
However another gig or two of ram would certainly be a profitable upgrade.
Hot price.... Grab a few where you can

Not a case of where, but how lol. I think this is store specific and in that I mean one store only. Anyone else managed to get one?
Fedora me thinks...
This is a good price for this machine, It's not great though, ok for basic stuff which is what plenty of people need. If you paid £300 for it then you need to see a doctor.
i bought this one from tesco-on offer a while back for the same price. lasted twelve months! ok for surfing etc, wouldnt use it for work etc
Cracking price for what it is.. If I didn't get a VAIO for £129 in the Sainsbury's offer earlier in the year, I'd be all over this.. Heat added
Looks great value, does anyone know if anywhere in Cheshire has this offer?

Huddersfield ( Waterloo store) at 10:00pm ( closing) last night ( Thurs), at least one end of isle display. Though phone to check beforehand.

£200 for a basic 15" laptop can't be bad.... of course it's got a basic CPU with small amount of ram but ram is easily upgraded if required and the humble Celeron is good enough for basic computing tasks.

Plus it's much better for a youngster to trash a £200 laptop than a £400 one
Picked up one in Welling, this afternoon
I have got one from Welling as well thanks for the heads up. The memory (RAM) is listed as being DDR2 but I bought one and it wouldn't fit. I'm now sure that the memory is DDR3 can anyone confirm this.
