when?:)

Fillings are absolute carp but they beat every thing else (including Gregs) on taste and always hot as opposed to like warm.
Have some more heat.

I've never seen one of these bakeries but seem to have quite a few open around the country. The prices are extremely good unlike greggs who have hiked up there prices ridiculously over the last few years!

Don't think we have one in Kent?!

eh fillings are carp but they taste better. that doesn't even make any logical sense whatsoever

Carp? Should appeal to our Polish friends

theres one in Atherton, greater Manchester but it's full of yobs, someone recently got stabbed. it's shocking !!

My opinion is torn over pound bakery. I can't help feeling its good value, but I feel cheap eating from there!

First time hearing of this store. When are they opening one in London?

they have always done veggie sausage rolls 2 for £1. Greggs and other places STILL don't do them. they're everywhere in greater Manchester and the rest of the north (apart from Manchester city centre) but none down south

one in Wakefield too. it's ok but they do use cheap bread

Wow proper prices unlike greggs charging more and more

fish pasties for a quid . Nice

Can we have one of these shops in our high street. We have aready have 3, yes 3 Greegs here in our high street. I think Pound Bakey could give them a run for thier money.

We don't have one in Southend, just three greggs hot though!

A pound for a cake is the going rate,so not sure what the big deal is :-/

Sayers is a completely different chain. Not to say Poundbakery didn't buy the premises, though.

Stopped buying things from pound bakery as we have on more than one occasion bought sausage and bean pasties. What they forget to tell you is they don't actually contain any sausage at all. If there is any it must dissolve as soon as it is eaten and should just be renamed 'bean pasty'. Steak bakes were the same i.e no steak just lots of gravy and the odd string of meat.

£1 bakery is such a genius idea! Wish I'd thought of it!

Not only do Blackpool have a Pound Bakery, it has a Pound Cafe! See picture above, not been, but interested to see how they can sell stuff in a cafe for £1...

Wrong - Sayers launched Pound Bakery and still own it.

Yes, the owners of Sayers may own Poundbakery but it is still a different chain, in the same way Currys and Carphone Warehouse are owned by the same people but are different chains. They cater to different people.

sounds like a grim shop - think its a pass from me
