The only London location available appears to be Walthamstow.
Coming up at £1.75 per person at London Walthamstow, is this correct?
Yep, watched this with my daughter and it was good fun
Really enjoyed Ugly Dolls. Surprisingly - thought it was gonna be another terrible Russia/Korea studio trash that by but really good storyline and message.
Yep, that and a 7 year old daughter attacking me with demands whilst I was trying to pop this up XD
Bit copy and paste happy...
Cheers. I used this. Empire is the only one that gives decent treats. Have had popcorn and drink free in the past.
So long as empire is applicable yes I'd have thought. As long as you show a ticket thats all that matters. Never done it before I know it used only be cineworld a few year back. I used 2 vouchers today on the meerkats movies for 2 and was fine
Will this work with Sweet Sunday tickets? (popcorn)
Brilliant thank you :)
the good thing about the small drinks at Empire as they are still pretty big i find. compared to a small drink at places like mcdonalds. a small drink at empire is near on same as a large mcdonalds drink
I identify as a toilet brush.
worth 7.59 gbp i believe
"Did you just assume my gender?!" I go by "Non Binary Gendered Individual" come, on, we're in 2019, not 2017! (lol)
Yeah just a little joke mate lol (lol) If you ever go to Vue, I recommend downloading the Hold app. For being "on hold" (not using your phone) long enough you can get a voucher for free popcorn when you buy a ticket. The voucher is 60 points I think and as far as I can remember you get 10 points for every 20 minutes that you are on hold
I paid £2.50 for each adult & child at Empire Cinema Poole last Monday watched ‘Small foot’, I remember it used to be £1.50 when I used to take my older kids though, still a great deal for two hours of indoor entertainment in the half term during this weather
Best to go to odeon quay (seats are recliner). Costs a bit more (£3.50) but keeps the kids quiet because they play with the seats if the film is boring ;)
Thanks for the heads up , I was thinking about going to Clydebank to see the Grinch (y) Don't think I'll bother now (flirt)
Sutton is showing Luis and the aliens as the jnr film this week.
Why is Sutton Coldfield excluded? Does anybody know? They don’t do parent and baby showings there either. (mad)
Always good to remember that all seats are the same price when booking, so if they have any of the fancy recliner ones left then book them because they can be ££ more to book at normal times
Gave me a chuckle thanks :)
If I'm an adult but I took my mum, would that be okay? My parent would be "the adult" and I would be "the child".
Thanks OP. Took my son to watch Peter rabbit this morning. Only cost £1 each!
Good deal, I think it’s only 2 films available each weekend though. Just a heads up. Oh and it’s 0.70p PP when booking online for those who are wondering. I don’t think any of these are recent releases but for £1.50 heat is defo added (y)
No. Of course it's nothing like the original books. That wouldn't really appeal to kids in 2018 i.e if they made a direct adaptation. What they did though was make a good kids / family film.
Not Peter Rabbit! It's a disgrace to the original Author!
Some great films there. Thanks for posting :)
Yeah I loved The Book Of Life
I quite liked it, and my kids loved it. However, not as good as The Book Of Life, which if you haven't seen you should.
The animation was great in Coco but I thought it was so dull, Found it really boring and just not that great, Shame as I really wanted to like it :(
Not seen the others but Coco is a great film. Beautiful animation and very moving.
Thanks OP. Took my lil 1 to see his 1st film today. Managed abt half the film in peace so not bad for 3quid
Only if your friends are electric.
Is Gary Numan in this one?
It can be purchased in the cinema
Lol I have BT Sport in 4K which plays perfectly... not sure you understand what I said. No problem my end... a fact is a fact.
All vouchers pretty much say that photocopy thing. I don't think it's really applicable with this anyhoo since you print them off. I think it is one per ticket but i always use these in a group anyway. I've had 6 of us all using em for one each . I always print off extra and hand them out at the cinema for others. It's like no one seems to know about the freebies they do
It says no photocopies how would they know if it's a copy? Another thing, could you use all 4 codes at once, it doesn't say it's 1 per ticket I honestly don't care since I don't have Empire Cinema close to me, it's more of a suggestion for others to try
well funny enough thats where i was mainly referring to when i said even though this says small its not "small" heh. i went several months back with my sister and she bought some popcorn at Cineworld and it seemed barely more than a mug of popcorn for atleast £2-£2.50. crazy. id say the small popcorn at Empire must be atleast a litre tub. and for some fresh popcorn for free certainly cant complain :)
I know free is free - but if these are as small as the "small" at Cineworld, you've got a couple of handfuls in there at most. Annoys me so much that not only do they make a massive profit on popcorn, their bags keep on getting smaller! Why we always take a bag from Tesco in with us - £1 for a big old bag :)
The movie isn't for the baby, the environment is. The idea is that parents with very small children can go and watch a movie in a surrounding where no one will start tutting and complaining if your baby starts crying or you need to get up to feed or change them. You wouldn't take a child old enough to be affected by what's on screen to one of these shows. I think it's a brilliant idea and wish more cinemas would do this, and more screenings for people on the autistic spectrum, too (similar thing: lights up, volume down, no one getting arsey).
Great selection, wish Cineworld, Vue and Odeon would follow and update their Juniors film selection.
this doesnt seem parent and baby film
Paddington 2 on the other hand was excellent fun
Actually okay - that's a better review than expected!
Just £1 at some sites
thanks, was wondering when the next schedule would be released.
Was checking earlier odeons version of the kids club has gone up to £3.25 at our local get ready for Cineworld to follow suit after their recent rises good to see at least one chain trying to get younger views hooked rather than fleecing them at every turn.
Heat added (y)
I went a few weeks ago and must say it is one of the best music exhibitions i have experienced especially in the last room.Last day 15 october.https://www.vam.ac.uk/exhibitions/pink-floyd
No doubt it'll be an experience seeing it in a cinema but I'll save my money for the blu ray instead.
Fantastic, pity I hate the cinema, BRD on order
No links working for me Op :/ Working HEAT ADDED THANX Op 8)
I love Floyds, same Waters not playing with. Heat from me!
For all you die hard fans out there....Odean, VUE and Cineworld are showing again over the course of the next week. My local VUE is showing again on Friday.
you must have a really big TV or an impressive set of peepers (eyes) if you can see it from a mile away, ha...
Just got back and my wife explained that it was the best 3d she had seen as it didn't distract from the film. I think this is the attention to depth of field rather than gimmicky tricks. They could have toned down some of the screechy noises as they were ear piercing but the quality of the film was brilliant.
Saw it at the Odeon Covent Garden tonight, really enjoyed it. Been so long since I've seen it that I wasn't aware of the edits. Saw it on initial release at the Odeon Marble Arch - sadly now gone. Have to say though, the only thing that really dates it for me is the Brad Fiedel score - obviously a classic theme - but the score sounds like a bad demo. Fans of 'Stranger Things' would probably love it though!
just got back to. the picture was excellent. really good restoration. could actually see the fine hair on Arnie's chest at the start in the bar hah never noticed that. some nice over shoulder 3D shots, the start was great with the close up of the terminator. just really happy to get to see it at the cinema regardless. the place was packed every seat sold
Saving about £10.00 if my last visit to the cinema was anything to go by! XD
Thanks. Great for my next cinema outing. And my folks just went yesterday. Could have given them this as a little treat lol. Heat added.
Love chocolate. Especially when it's free
Anyone know how to get this?
Cool love them :-)
Thanks, free chocolate always taste better
