Major update 12 now avaliable.
"Empyrion - Galactic Survival is a 3D open world space sandbox survival adventure. Build powerful ships, mighty space stations and vast planetary settlements to explore, conquer or exploit a variety of different planets and discover the mysteries of Empyrion! Co-op and multiplayer avaliable"

Have to make a post for this game, definitely deserves it. It's a survival space game in a proceedural universe. Start crash landing on a planet and then while building and expanding bases you work your way up building land vehicles, to small space craft, and eventually massive capital vessels hundreds of meters long. This isn't just build a specific base or ship too, you can build them however you want from thousands of blocks, or do what many do and choose a premade model to build then add items/turrents or rooms or whatever as you want. Otherwiise you can spend many hours just building a ship from scratch just how you want it.

There are factions on each planet each with their own territories. Large detailed space trading stations/markets orbiting planets that are very cool to explore and they're all different unlike other games. They've also added in that your base where ever you built it gets attacked every now and then if you have enemies. Then of course there are the storylines. Big Steam workshop community making 100s of new ships and bases and stuff all the time and even many new scenarios to keep things fresh.

It is a bit clunky UI wise since it's beta and they're focusing on just keep finishing the game before refining it all but you get used to it. Millions of videos and forum posts to help out. At this £5.99 sale price though it's a steal either way, can't remember it dropping this low.

But yeah just figured I'd post this. It feels like the game that I thought No Mans Sky would be like. Graphics are nowhere near as good but exploration and gameplay wise is better in many ways, like on No mans sky all trading stations and bases and stuff are identical whereas in this they can be completely different. I've always said this game mixed with No Mans Sky would probably be the best space game out right now.
Community Updates

This sounds good. As a big fan of survival games (rust and no mans sky) I’ll watch some videos and think about purchasing.
Big fan of this game - definitely not for everyone but I've put in over 500 hours and have loved every minute.
They just dropped a massive content update, worth every penny.
