Never been capped or reduced speed on my 20GB (was 15GB) plan
Super Hot. Excited to pop this bad boy in.
What’s the price after feb 2020?
I doubt I would get 5G speeds from the Vodafone network, when my 4G capable smartphone can only get 3G speeds when tested by myself in many areas.

Just checked their terms and conditions (which redirects you to Vodafone).

Looks like no reduction on speed.

'Is traffic management used in relation to heavy users?'

No, we would only block / throttle in the event of activity harmful to our network

Are there only a few phones capable of offering 5G? Or will phones update automatically to offer this?
You'll need a 5g compatible phone to get 5g
Would this be any good in a mifi device to use for internet at home ???

20gb is slightly different to 'unlimited' - we've got a 4g router with a 3 sim inside - we used 800gb last month. If it is truly unlimited and 5G speeds it might be worth it - but all 3 sims are 5G capable you just need a 5G device for them to run.

I said that to confirm that on the VOXI network I haven't been throttled or had my speed reduced.

You don't need a 5G device to use VOXI's unlimited data plan. You would just be connected to unlimited 4G data on a 4G supported device. As confirmed

You'll need a handset which is 5G compatible like the Note 10+5G or S10 5G.

You can use the SIM for completely unlimited data on a 4G device but you would be connected to 4G, not 5G

No credit checks for just SIM only plans. However if you are buying a phone from VOXI they use PayPal Credit, I'm not sure if they do credit checks

Just a heads up I'm sure it used to say this on the website but I can't find this now. I suggest going on live chat on the VOXI website or contacting VOXI on Twitter / Facebook to double check before joining them. I never had a credit check when joining

Yeah you can. You can just ask Vodafone or VOXI to do the transfer, Vodafone own and run VOXI

You can also visit a Vodafone store for help with VOXI and to join VOXI

Brilliant, really glad I saw this thread. Only drawback I see is no Wi-fi calling but probably not an issue

WiFi calling isn't supported. VOXI has said this is because they are a pay as you go service when asked. However the coverage and speeds of VOXI are amazing, based on my experience anyway. This depends on the location and if you're switching from Vodafone, the coverage and speeds will be the same as what you get with Vodafone. You won't even need to get a new SIM card, they can just transfer you over using the SIM card you (or your friend) already use now

I’m not with Vodafone but I see they have different speeds depending on your plan. Is it the case that VOXI doesn’t have any kind of speed restriction?

The speeds should be the same across all plans, are you referring to the data (6GB / 15GB / 45GB / Completely endless)? VOXI does not throttle or restrict speed like Giffgaff does

The best speed I've had with VOXI is this

I think I’ve seen “unlimited” plans at speeds up to 10mb and “unlimited lite” up to 2mb from Vodafone. I was wondering if VOXI was similar

Also if u want say unlimited netflix, Amazon prime video etc. U can also pay £7 a month for video pass, £5 for music etc. Ie depending on situation £15/£17/£22 is lower than £30.
I'd like to share my input with you guys!
I've recently switched from a absolutely pants network Three to Vodafone's Unlimited Max Plan and let me tell you it's amazing!
I didn't even know what HD Calling was until I switched to Vodafone it was basically non-existent.

What I will say is Vodafone is definately one of the better networks for Stability and Reliability.
(I've left out speed as I get 80mbps on Three in my area and only 6/7mbps on Vodafone but Vodafone beats loading times).
I prefer Reliability rather than speed that is way more important for myself in terms of a Mobile Network.

This was all said due to the fact that Voxi uses the Vodafone network.

Speed definitely depends on location, I've had this as the best so far

I'm glad you're enjoying Vodafone!

Off to Manchester Christmas Market... Might test out 5G whilst i'm there.

But nice speeds!

I've seen a user before hit 300meg.

Just remember VOXI don’t offer all the same services that Vodafone do.

There is no HD Voice on 4G, all calls are via 3G. Also they don’t offer WiFi Calling.

I’m with them and have been for over a year and don’t mind this as I don’t don’t use my phone for many calls anyway.

That's something that was non-existent on Three for me at least. They seemed to prioritise 1800Mhz over 800Mhz even when you had a better signal. (HD Voice on Three's 4G was practically non-existent).

From this image of the 5G rollout it does appear that Vodafone is a little bias towards the western side of the country.
We're in Yorkshire just praying one day it will come to us.

Guys, quick question... I've literally just moved into new flat and can't get hooked up for my Broadband for a couple of weeks, I'm just out of contract and still on Vodafone... But this looks great for me streaming to my devices and TV (Mifi style)... Just wondering if this a good option?

Yep. I'd try it, I don't have issues with VOXI and the speed and coverage is excellent in my opinion. It's cancel anytime so if it doesn't work for you, you're not tied into any contracts

as mentioned this was on 5G - but I have seen 14mMbps on 4G with my Voxi sim !
