Attractive cardboard box.
1 Year Warranty and Screwfix replace like for like or refund no fuss.
Keyless chuck.
Supplied with 7 wood carbon-steel drill bits and 7 steel HSS drill bits.
Variable speed dial.
Renovated my new house with it, dropped by £5 since I bought it.
It's a drill for less than £20.

Struggles with mixing screed.
Cord could be longer.
Not a Makita/Dewalt/Bosch/Milwaukee or whatever.
Supplied drill bits are probably made of chocolate, but I never tried them.

Don't forget 1% Quidco. Lots of stock around Heathrow.

Is this still any good for an occasional DIY user ??
I have 1 (as a throw away tool to abuse). It works - just. Would buy a Bosch on sale or parkside if you are going to use for anything more than the most basic diy.

Is this still any good for an occasional DIY user ??

I've put up TV brackets in to solid brick, drilled through a solid 12" wall for cables, drilled holes for an entire bathroom suite, mixed three buckets of screed, refitted a static caravan and fitted four doors using it and has done the job well. Not hugely powerful, but fine for most DIY tasks.
Mmm chocolate drill bits you could have them with a brew whilst admiring the attractive cardboard box!

You know how to sell it OP X)

As an owner and user of the drill & said chocolate drill bits, I can confirm they may not have great cocoa content but do share similar brittle characteristics. Basically yup, buy some new drill bits to use with it.

I've used it to sand down large parts of wooden floors (with attachments) + have put up blinds with it. Did a good job.

Attractive cardboard box. " !

Thanks OP . I don't need it but have have reserved one as a spare . Corded drills are still useful and half inch chucks are better than 3 eights .

From memory Argos also sell cheap/ cheaper corded drills that come with a plastic box/case! But I don't know where I
put my one ..

half decent drill this, well worth under £20
