good buy, need local stores for me

lol was going to post it, good deal specially when wilkinson are doing same batteries for over £3

Any proof that these are any better than no-name own-brand alkalines? And if you buy rechargeables then it will be equivalent to about 1p per battery - now doesn't that put things into perspective? (Usual disclaimer about clocks and remote controls.)

The same AA's are available in my local Poundland too.

Proof is as good as non-brand alkaline batteries, use it to compare and 99p is worth to compare.

In my experience with batteries you get what you pay for

I agree with the above comment however on the Gadget Show recently they did a test of all different makes of batteries and Morrison's own brand came out as one of the best.

These will be worse than full-price Duracells then? :?

I think you should check what type of battery you are buying - alkaline good; non-alkaline bad.

Good - but your results don't agree with ]The Gadget Show's.

Much more importantly, I presume they are not alkaline and thus total rubbish - the type of stuff that's included with electronic equipment just so that they don't have to say "batteries not included".
