This is the best price I've found for these at the moment - not many deals around on them recently. You need to order them for pickup in store to get this price, otherwise you'll either pay £3.50 for delivery or if you just walk into the shop they're full price on the racks.
Yes, they're not the cheapest batteries out there, but if you need high drain long life Lithium batteries then this is possibly the best price going at the moment - plus being that they're from Boots and not eBay you can be pretty sure you're not getting fakes

The non-lithium Energizer range were all half price in Asda this week, so paid £3.75 for 10. Stocked up ahead of Christmas (as for my various wireless gadgets!)
These are the best things for DSLRs, much better than fancy rechargables and last ages.

Usually around this price direct from Amazon.

That's great if you don't need the high current capacity of lithium batteries, but non-lithiums don't work in some devices. I use these in trail cams for wildlife surveying, they're the only batteries that work reliably over a long period and in the cold.
Still that price in asda birchwood

Nope, they are not that great at high currents, alkaline being much worse. Lithium much matches Eneloop Pro.
These however do save weight.

Great cells, which normally come with a ten year shelf life.
Heat added. These are expensive compared to ordinary batteries, but they are worth the extra if you need them for a specialist application. They cope much better with extreme cold than other chemisties as well as having a very long shelf life. These could literally save your life in some situations.

Rechargeable batteries don't have the same voltage, so in high current applications they can just peter out within hours.
