Blast, just bought similar quantity from Maplins for 3 times the price.

Confirmed bought the same items for same price earlier.

Just by rechargables for ****'s sake.

Okay, the first part of the word "Christmas" is apparently too rude to show. Bloody religious over-sensitivity.

C.hrist is not rude.

you can buy 12 SONY or KoDak batteries for, funnily enough, a £1 in POUNDLAND, not sure why I should vote this hot?!?

Because the Poundland ones last two seconds, unless they are used to power a TV remote (and yes I speak from experience), where the Energizer ones will power up digi cameras etc and last a long time.

I buy AA's regularly for my Flash on my Sony DSLR Kodak Batteries are ok from Poundland but I go through them twice as quick as Energizers or Duracell. Just bought 12AAs from B&M for £3.99 which I thought was good... wish I got these now!!

FYI - Kodak Batteries from Poundland or cheap batteries in general tend to be Zinc Chloride as opposed to the more expensive Alkaline Batteries. Zinc Chloride batteries are no where near as good as alkaline batteries which is why they're only good for low powered devices such as a remote control. I'm sure this has been brought up before - but one for those who say "Poundland is better" Well yes, but you buy them more frequently, so in turn - you spend more.

Those silver SONY ones are the worse I have ever used. Rubbish.

Excellent price, there are tons of them in the Gillingham store.

I bought 6 packs in Bolton. 48 decent batteries for £7.47 is super awesome!

Bought 2, thanks OP
