You can get 16 Duracell plus AA Batteries for £4.50 from Tesco.

This is a decent price though.

I use ]MDS Batteries through Quidco (8%). They sell Duracell Procell AA for £2.98 (for 10), but there's a fixed postage charge of £1.99. Quidco normally makes up for the delivery charge.
They also deliver faster than any other online company I've ever used.

Cheers Cutthroat, i might use that in future. Might be worth posting a deal just for that so that more people are aware of it. Damn good deal.

Morrisons are doing buy one get one free on the 4 pack for about £2.50.

Home bargains usually have better deals than this on duracell, ive seen 8's in there for £1.99 before

Why don`t do your bit for the environment and use rechargeable batteries? I have been using the same batteries in my mouse for four years and charge them overnight once a week.

These same ones are £4.47 from Wilkinsons and same for the AAA 8 pack BOGOF.

But thats less than 30p so barely makes up for delivery. Those Procells arn't that much better performance wise either just better performers in colder conditions.

I wasn't suggesting people just bought one box. I have 3 kids, so I buy in bulk at this time of year.

I also wasn't claiming that these were Duracell Ultra M3's, but they offer a decent performance and good VFM.

Duracell's Procell battery is designed especially for high volume commercial and industrial users. It is manufactured to the same high standards as the Duracell "copper top" range.
