England v Denmark, International Friendly at Wembley

On 31 March the England and Denmark will face each other on Wembley. Both teams have qualified for this year’s Euro Championship, England as the winner of its group, and Denmark as a runner-up in their’s. This friendly game presents both sides the opportunity to hone their games before the tournament begins in June. If during the Euro both teams make it out of the group stage, they may first meet each other on the pitch in the quarter finals. If that happens, the game on 31 March is a chance to see how that might work out.

You can buy one adult and one child ticket for £30 or one adult and two child tickets for £35.

When will they realise that night time school night matches are pretty much inaccessible to anyone outside of London....
I’d love to take my 2 lads a England game but a 8pm midweek KO would mean them missing 2 days of school

Nice one mate 🙌
Didn't have a great experience when booking England match euro qualifier with groupon. Tickets didn't arrive had to use PayPal claim to get money back and buy direct which ended up cheaper. But appreciate that I was probably unlucky.

Cheers Jezzery
I think it’s a wonderful opportunity to visit a world class stadium to support England. It’s a introduction for any child to see their first international performance live for a fairly reasonable price. You could even make a family day out of it. I agree it’s in the evening during a work/school day but it’s a once in a life time opportunity. Denmark are a respectable side and I think it will be a competitive friendly.
Love goes to England and the great people of our fabulous country.

Possibly...but with some of our regular forwards being out of the Euros that leaves possible space for new young talents like Jack Grealish, Will Hughes and possibly Callum Hudson Odoi.

The same Hodson Odoi who can’t get a regular place in the chelsea team?
Agree with Grealish, better than anyone else in his position atm

With Harry Kane out, Marcus Rashford doubtful there’s a good chance for young talent. I’ve also noticed that public influence on the Twitter England pages are persuading decision making and choice selection for our next England squad.

True,I’m half expecting Grealish be another one of those great players that never got a chance with the National squad though....

I’m very excited about Jack Grealish too. Hopefully I’ll get to see him during the Euro 2020 tournament when I volunteer this year.

The world rankings began to differ.

As does the last World Cup - before any tedious types bleat on about not actually playing anyone consider who Germany and Spain went out to. Consider that Italy and Holland never ever made it. There were 28 teams wishing they were as awful as us.

They should give these tickets away, at least the cheap seats anyway just to fill it out and maybe give something back to fans who otherwise wouldn’t get a chance to visit Wembley/watch England

Superb Suggestion. Completely agree. They could work with showfilmfirst or the local schools in Brent to give them away.

I agree Paul. The only issue is that they offer so late that only the local schools get to attend. I know when Watford played in the FA Cup semi-final and final last year they gave away so many tickets to most of the schools in Hertfordshire.

Been to Wembley a number of times in the last few years and to be honest the whole experience is just becoming less and less appealing.

The area around the stadium is, being kind, an absolute dump.(rough and bordering on unsafe to walk around at night) Outside the stadium has become a building site and a damn eyesore.

Getting there and back is a nightmare...traffic is horrific and parking a nightmare. Park in one of the close multi story car parks and it can be an hour just getting out the carpark.

You then finally get into the ground and the drinks and food are not only ridiculously priced, the food is disgusting, slopped together and not worth a pound, yet charge £10 for a burger.

The queues for drinks and food are ridiculous....I've waited 20 minutes for a drink.

The whole operation at Wembley has become one big con and you come away, after the match just feeling quite ripped off and fed up.

Been to other stadiums - cardiff principality springs to mind, which is a similar size but does everything a million times better than wembley.

That’s a true and fair point. I’m also disappointed that the high rise infrastructure around Wembley Stadium has ruined the skyline of the iconic building.

I’ve only had good experiences at Wembley and I’ve been to the old stadium 4 times and the new one about 10 times so far.

Hope your future experience improves.

To be honest I've been about 30 times since it was rebuilt ( For sport and concerts) and I feel the experience is getting worse by the year.

The building works going on around the stadium are horrific...and killing any spectacle the event provides. No other country in the world would build a number of high rise flats within a stones throw of their national stadium like this.

The stadium itself is something to be proud of, but the terrible service, extortionate prices, awful food and dreadful staff attitudes, it just makes you feel let down and taken advantage of.

But, I keep going like a mug, as I want to see live events and they are often at Wembley so theres little choice......but now I stay in a nearby hotel to avoid the horrific pre event traffic and I eat food outside the stadium...and smuggle my alcohol into the stadium...so all Wembley gets from me is the entrance fee.

If I could I would pass on all my luck to you in regards to the number of free concerts and sporting events I’ve seen at Wembley and other great venues around GB. I sincerely hope all your concerts and sporting events experiences improve for you. Don’t think anything can be done about the infrastructure around Wembley stadium and I agree it’s a terrible shame. Best of luck to you.

We all live in hope. If someone could teach the boys not to worry and play like it’s just a Sunday league game then they might enjoy it, score and win? With the skill, determination and talent they could do it? They just need to lock up their fears and emotions, be a bit professional and win.

I personally feel Jack will play like Paul Gascogne and Gary Lineker at their best and run at the defence. Imagine how that would inspire the nation?

Hit the nail on the head. Always cautious about buying Arsenal tickets for myself and my 9yo lad. If the match gets moved to 4:30pm Sunday or 8pm Monday it’s a nightmare, and midweek is no-go, and we only live about 60 miles away but that’s 1.5 hrs by train.

Anything 12-3 kick off at the weekend is excellent but night matches... He would LOVE to go to an England match but we’d be home after midnight and he’d be exhausted for school bless him
