bargain at this price, 2 Adults and up to 9 children entry to hundreds of fantastic places.

Used the card to gain entry to a number of places during the summers - its brilliant. Shame with the weather we have now its hard to go to the places it gets you entry to - looking forward to the summers(I am sure we all are though:D )

Great find, thanks OP.

Isn't there quite a few places are closed for the winter

Ah thats a very good idea for future i got an art fund already

Twins counts as 2 kids or one? I have one "siamese twin", which is obviously counts as one, but not sure about my two normal ones. Because i count 7 kids, otherwise would be great deal!

Ordered using code/vouchers/staff discount £20.44 thanks OP

If you want an ultimate bargain including free entry to both English Heritage, & National Trust for a family of two adults and includes school aged children, then purchase a Heritage New Zealand Card @ heritage.org.nz/get…-us this card costs $95 New Zealand Dollars (Converted approx: £54) or a Joint Senior Member card which also includes school aged children for $50 (approx £29).... These cards work every time in the UK at both English Heritage & National Trust I have been using them for the last 5 years (great deal for a family and my parents have a Senior One as well to take the kids out and visit loads of interesting places)....

Just use the shipping including with the purchase price of the tickets and they take a 1-2 weeks to arrive (12months membership).

You could do that - or you could join English Heritage and your money would actually be used to support that charity and benefit the heritage we have in this country.
You might also want to take note of the additional charges with joining Heritage New Zealand:

Parking: NZHPT and Heritage New Zealand membership cards cannot be used as parking vouchers at any property here, or overseas.

Postal charges: Additional charges apply for international deliveries:

$30 per annum for four issues of the magazine delivered (via airmail) to an address outside New Zealand.
$10 to have a membership card posted to an address outside New Zealand. This fee is included within the annual membership fee for those who are normally resident overseas.

cold - England only

Thanks, that's a Christmas gift for my parents sorted. How many Clubcard points should I get for the senior membership? It says 48 - that doesn't look like triple points.

According to English Heritage site:
"Membership includes six accompanying children per adult member, under 19 years and within the family group."

That's up to 12 kids under 19 years old

That's what I figured too as English Heritage states 'up to 6 children per adult member' but I just basically copied and pasted from Tesco Direct website.

Good price, but even better if you work for Royal Mail. Surprising how many posties don't realise they're free to enter. We regularly take our kids to Tintagel and Pendennis castles.

Is that just for employees of Royal Mail or do their partner and kids get free entry as well?

If you work for the civil service (which is quite wide) you can get a membership to the CSSC for a few quid a month, this includes a corporate membership to English heritage and loads of other benefits, well worth it if you are likely to go to Engish Heritage places

In Laws sorted, thankyou x

Posties deserve rewards. I for one can't get up in the mornings let alone when it's miserable outside!

Good deal, thanks

Yes for partners and kids as well :-)

Do they charge to keep the "riff raff" out?
I have found English Heritage a bit snobby, exclusive recently.
Our Heritage and History should be everybody's right.

Great. Thanks for getting back to me!

I dont have any kids - can I still buy the card and use it legally?

The 'Family' membership is actually a Joint Adult one. English Heritage allows each member to take up to 6 children free. So yes, if you've paid for the membership, you can use it for yourself whether you take children or not.

Hi. Do you have to pay the $10 oversees postage fee? And do you have any experience of using the card in Wales? And what sites would it be suitable for? Thanks in advance!
