Yep I left some suggested locations and my email address via their website. At the moment enterprise are the only car club operatives in Bradford, and even they have only 2 or 3 bays. Honestly I don't really need the service personally, was more for a younger newly passed sibling that wants to get on the road occasionally, thought this may be a great way to have a car occasionally without investing ridiculous money into owning their own
It's all about perspective I guess. I remember the first time I saw Enterprise's £750 and thought "Wow that's cheap!" after coming from Hertz 24/7's car club who charged young people a whopping £1550 excess plus a £250 upfront deposit to use their cars or vans. Have you tried contacting Co-Wheels and requesting a car? They'd have to speak to the council to get parking spaces and permits unless a local residence or company with a good location can offer a parking space, but I've been speaking to their fleet guy recently and they just put in an order to Toyota and Renault for some more new cars. They have the availability so now is definitely the time to ask! Be warned - Co-Wheels cars do get a bit annoying as you can't keep the car key during the booking. You have to log in and out with the smart card to lock and unlock. Especially if you're like me and often running back and forth carrying heavy items into or out of the car.
£750. This can be reduced to £100 if you pay £10/month waiver free. Enterprise are expensive Co-wheels excess is lower, closer to £250, with a lower £5 monthly fee (which isn't payable if you spend more than £5 on car hire in that month). Saying that it all comes down to availability and location. Co- wheels have nothing within 50 miles of my location, enterprise have one car within 1mile of my home
What's the excess?
Edited in the rolling membership fees yesterday to make that clearer to others looking at the deal. I'll add in the vouchercloud(?) driving credit offer too. Thanks for pointing it out! It's a shame that referral codes aren't allowed on HUKD from what I can see. We'd both get more than £15 each that way.
