Dont know if its a bonus but usually poundland stuff breaks early, this should be good forawhile

thanks, is it for anyone, or just eon customers?

Great first post too, congratulations. Heat added.

During checkout it asks for Eon acc number

It does, but it doesn't require it. I've just bought 3 and didn't put in an account number.

Cheers hoskind1
Good deal. :-D
Ordered 5 x Timers - £5.00 :-D
Another addition for the new home on the 20th Dec :santa:

thank you - ordered 5 for £5 great first post heat and rep added XXX

I'm abit confused about how these can be very useful. I have economy 7 but I don't use many appliances.

I often wonder whether it might be good to have a massive battery in the house which I could draw power from during the day and charge at night.

Did anyone get an email confirmation?

ordered 3 cheers

Thank you for this post x

Dunno about poundland - but I've bought numerous mechnical timers over the years. they were all junk. Typically they lasted a few weeks, then the "clock" stops rotating, generally at either the switch on or switch off time. Now I reckon they're ALL a waste of time and will only use the digital types.

good post

mechanical timers, meh.

Wait I can use them to turn my Gramophone on and off, must go to Boots to buy some new 78's.

Thank You

I have had the dishwasher and washing machine running on mechanical timers for over five years. Never needed to replace one and I have saved a stack of cash by washing my dishes and smalls in the wee hours. Everyone should do it, it is one of the easiest and most effective ways of saving money with the added bonus of adding to your green credentials. Good post op. h+r.

Gone for 1. I am an Eon customer anyway.
Voted hot + repped.

Excellent, just what we were looking for...Thanx

is there a Mr Thompson from Scarborough here?

When I go to the deal my firefox is picking this up as a dodgy connection. Is it just me?

Clearly by magic :-).

That being said I never had a problem with the mechanical ones. Or only once: the one in our central heating failed, after 15 years or so.
