Normally my recommendation here would be to go for the Standard Edition, rather than waste money on the Gold or Ultimate editions, but since Standard doesn't quality for the discount Gold actually works out cheaper, so really no reason not to go for that. As far as I know cheapest ever for either base game or gold edition.

The "Year One Pass" is NOT your regular season pass where you are buying access to the DLC. The 3 major DLC releases are FREE for ALL players, regardless of version. The Year One Pass is merely 7 day earlier access to those DLC packs. Considering there is only one more DLC to come in year one, the benefit of the year one pass is pretty much expired, and safe to say if you are only looking to buy the game 9 months after launch then early access isn't really a priority.

The Elite Agent Pack is a boost at the start of the game, but you end up level with everyone else at L30. The "additional stash space" is really just early access to stash space everyone else unlocks later. No permanent advantage.

The other two packs are cosmetic items.

I've been playing since launch and really enjoyed it. I am also quite happy to pay more for a higher tier version if I think it gives more content and good value for it, but for this game I don't feel the higher price tags for Gold or Ultimate really added much of value.

Insane price is right. Great with mates. Heat!
Are you sure you can get the base game for £2.49? I thought the £10 voucher only worked on products £14.99 or over.
Already got a mega thread for epic sale

Ah you're right, sorry!
Corrected original post.
Epic games trying to lure you to the dark side..
Voucher is only valid on "Qualifying games must be a minimum price of $14.99 after any promotions and discounts are applied".

Showing not valid on my basket for the Standard Edition.

I've updated the original post. My mistake for saying the base game was included.
Doesn't reach the minimum spend but that makes the Gold and Ultimate editions cheaper than the base game!

Don't you also have to have Uplay installed to launch the game even though you bought it on the Epic store?

You need to link a uplay account when it's added to the Epic Games client but I don't think you need the Uplay client installed.

The only difference I can see is cosmetics!
Between Gold and Ultimate the only difference is 3 costume sets so if you just want game content I'd go with Gold

I don't understand why people care about multiple launchers. I just buy where every is cheapest and if I care about multiplayer I try coordinate with mates. Why do so many people moan?

Would I be better off with Gold or Ultimate?
