Another cracking set of games - Epic continue to do epic giveaways

Eh? Why not post the deal on the day?

What if a person was going to buy one of these free games today, searched HUKD for the best price and spotted this deal? Just saved them money for waiting a few days, beats posting on the day as they may miss out.

I've never liked these patronising narrative stanley parable style games. Obnoxious. But it's highly rated so a good offering in that case.
Sadly the day has come where I too can finally say "bah humbug! I already own these"

I appreciate there are a several here who prefer to look up the previous deal themselves (i.e. the games which have gone free from today), but for us more simple folk who prefer the easier option, OP would you add the link to them in the body of the deal please, i.e. here

Thank you

Quiet thanks to @matwalaboy who also does this.

Did mat forget about the daylight savings in US? or was he beaten.

haha - I try Crazy day today with the spread of Corona, in a company call right now where we make the decision to let everyone work from home for the remainder of March potentially.

Unusually busy day mate - I blame it on corona (ouch!)

Watch Dogs - RAY TRACING | GLOBAL ILLUMINATION | RT Shader - Realistic Graphics 2019

Awesome! Thanks!
Love the Stanley parable, can't play it for that 5 year achievement though

Ha ditto. Got to the flat. Went exploring. Hated it...
Why do these always get posted many days before they're actually available? Are people desperate for the heat?
Edited by: "tjc2005" 12th Mar
With them fully backing Geforce Now and all the amazing games they're giving away... I have to say I'm a big fan now. Been buying my games on here rather than steam.

To inform those of us who might not check the Epic Games store every day .. I personally find it helpful.

I am a big fan of the Stanley Parable, if you are curious about the game prior to it going free, you should try the demo on Steam.
Stanley Parable Steam Page

It'll give you a good sample of the humour without spoiling the game itself.

Edit: And if you can't be bothered to download it, here's a YouTube video of the Demo.

Because if you were to go on the epic store you'd see, that it says they're free soon, so nobody would end up buying it today either way.

Most people would use Steam. Not everyone has Epic Games Store.

It's worth highlighting that the demo is entirely separate from the main game, making it a very worthwhile experience even if you already own the game.
Really enjoyed the Stanley Parable. Did eventually become frustrated (and obsessed) trying to find all the endings though (there are loads). I had to cheat and get help from the internet in the end, but good fun.
Just bought stanley parable
I almost bought Kingdom come: Deliverance on steam the week before Epic decided to give it away as a freebie after forgetting that Epic sell some of the same games as Steam on their store, so I have definitely benefited from the Epic freebie deals being posted on HUKD a week early. These Epic giveaways are great but they are making me more cautious about buying games on other platforms now if those games are also on the Epic store. Unless the game is cheap as chips, my rule from now on is that I will only buy a game if I am going to play it immediately because I know I would be more gutted to pay good money for a game, only to find Epic were giving it away free before I had even got around to playing it.
This giveaway is epic
I've already got Watchdogs free on uPlay anyway ..

I see your logic there
HEAT, Watch dogs is good, The Stanley parable looks interesting too
I enjoyed Watch Dogs, ending was a bit meh and fell a bit flat but overall, I liked it. Plus on PC, you can install mods to make it prettier.
Already have both of these, but they’re both brilliant games for anyone who doesn’t!

I kind of agree.. except even though it's impossible to get these games now these early posts remind me to get the last bunch of free epic games that I was unable to get before because they were posted too early

I changed my system time to get it, kind of wish I'd just left it and got it legit

Heat added, good games
