At £199 you get a lot of bass for your money, looks cool, plays well (with a bit of adjustment) and sounds great but is too long to fit in most standard guitar bags and cases so the inclusion of the free Epiphone hard case (worth £59) makes it a MEGABARGAIN. PS The strap button is behind the neck so it doesn't suffer from 'neck-dive'.

Is the strap button on a new position on this model? I used to have an Epi Thunderbird bass, and its neckdive was why I ended up selling it.

The neck is a bolt-on and the strap button is on the metal plate. My mate bought one a few months ago and I can confirm it doesnt suffer from neck-dive (I tried it myself)

Ah, good to know. Heat added, btw.
Awesome deal... This bass got voted best bass under 300 quid... Add in a free 60 quid hard case and its an absolute steal.. So glad the offer was still on.. Grabbed one for some rocksmith goodness :-)
