VAT is extra for sales within the EU, which, regrettably, includes the UK.

Personally, as attractive as the Springer is, I'd rather have this

That must be why they are selling it at such a low price.
Buy something I have already made a contribution to?

It's not so much a waste of money, when you consider that the money invested usually moves around in circles, and keeps British manufacturing and engineering jobs intact, and they can export some of that gear they make, hopefully. NB. I assume it's all made here.

Some interesting stuff on the MOD website, can't imagine too many could afford the fuel for school run in an armoured personnel carrier.

rather one of these.
Are these road legal?
Haha this is so awesome...I'll take 2!

Are these road legal?

It can be, but because it is ex-mod it means it is not counted as registered in the UK. So to get it UK registered you will most likely need to take it for an IVA test (£199).
Roads? Where we're going, we don't need roads.
Cool ! If you say "Lombardini" In a Sean Connery Style voice you can almost make it sound like "Lamborghini" & Pose to your friends
Jags and range rovers, normally used as executive transport for high ranking military officers and MOD civil servants I.e Naval ship captain's personal transport or someone working at an overseas headquarters if in LHD. Probably got too many so selling off.
I understand why they would have them, just don't get why they would have unused ones for sale
Perfect for the weather conditions at the moment, I'm ditching my crappy 'no grip whatsoever' BMW for one of these. Anyone know what the company car tax rates are like???

Does it have windows so will it be cold?

This is a real mans car, you dont need windows, you just let your beefy moustache free to blow in the wind
Not quite good enough for Chuck Norris (it has seats, and ballistic panels he wouldnt need or use) but not too far off.

It doesnt come with sun visors with those quaint little mirrors on so the ladies (and gents - lets be P.C) can do their make-up in, either. Doesnt have a glovebox to that keeps all the tat you think you might need but never really do. Seats are considerately wipe clean if you do get shot so the blood doesnt stain like velour might.

But hey, its got its own winch for dragging your drunk mates home with on a saturday night so they dont get puke inside the car. I'd recommend you use a supermarket trolley to put them in first though. If you're feeling generous you could always throw them in the back instead and hose it down the next day. X)
