Fantastic price, I paid £99 not long ago from PC World....

hi colin

im lookimng to buy all in one to replace my samsung mono lazer any idea on refils cost ?

£11 or so on ebay with £2.50ish post you might find a deal on a few sets

Original Poster

if you want original epsons they are £5.99 each from mx2.com free delivery I believe
or £30 for full set, but the printer comes with a set of ink so you will probably only need to replace black at first so may not need to buy whole set

Col

Believe me they aren't full.......

great stuff , going to order it noo
happy new year when it come's
nasir

Original Poster

Maybe they are not full but even half full is better than nothing especially at this price and replacement original cartridges are so reasonably priced so its really not that bad

Col

Original Poster

Above I put full set of refills are £30 from mx2.com

they are actually 19.99 for full set with free delivery

or 5.99 each

Can recommend these too as I bought my last from them.....

Original Poster

I paid £59.99 for the DX6000 but that was a part of the epson trade in programme only couple weeks a go but this is better than that and no hassle of trading in your old printer etc.

Happy New Year Everyone

cheap inks on scan.co.uk

arent there any 10% codes available??

http://www.currys.co.uk/images/956212_01_huge.jpg

Original Poster

black ink from scan is 12.89 compared with 5.99 delivered with mx2.com

Col

i meant unofficial ink, you cant tell the difference, miles cheaper!

overnight this has jumped to £79.99
Also so far as I can tell the picuter although the same as Currys picture is hte DX6000 no the DX6050 - take at look at the epson site.

still £59.99 when i click the link and add to my basket

yes funny thing is if you search for DX6050 at Currys you get the 59.99 price one again:?

Didn't think you can get cheap ink for the DX6050 yet can you?

Original Poster

5.99 each for original inks or 19.99 for full set, takes the same ink as the DX6000.

Far as Im aware they are both the same printer but sold as the 6050 in Dixons group

Col

Looks like a good buy, thanks OP, please does anyone know the codes for this.

Thanks

Great deal! Thanks OP, just ordered. I used voucher code 5PCOFF to get an additional 5% off which brings the total to £56.99 delivered.

Original Poster

No problem:thumbsup:

There are two 5% codes at the moment but can only use one of them unfortunately

Dont forget quidco or rpoints too :-)

Col

Original Poster

hajj_3 which are the unofficial inks for less at scan? and how much? Cos seems carriage alone for cartridge is 5.98 the same price as 1 original delivered from mx2.com :-)

To be honest at 5.99 each for originals delivered cant see much value in getting cheap compatibles really?

Col

Thanks for the code, I tried to order but their system crashed 3 times as I added it to the basket.

Placed order ocer the phone, used the 5pcoff code and no problems.

Obviously missed out on quidco, but still a great price.

Original Poster

Glad few people have found use for one :-)

Col

Nice find Thanks for this ;-)

Welcome to HotUKDeals new members here too!

bought 1, its £55.28 after quidco

Original Poster

Even better :-)

Epson express centres are currently doing good deals on printers also,

check out the R360 which will be available for £79.99 (trade in any printer) and £69.99 (if u trade in a warranty epson printer). (rrp 99.99)

The DX6000 was available at 59.99 until today.

You can find your nearest express centre on the epson website.

Btw the Epson ink cartridges have got more ink than they specify on the packet, so yes... they are filled to thier specified amount.

Also the myth about cartridges that come with the printer being half full etc is also false.

And compatible cartridges are pretty bad, some are ok and work fine, but others are awful and ruin the printer.

Still, cant be any worse than a Lexmark. lol

Original Poster

Yeah I used epson trade up offer myself and paid 59.99 recently.

Doesnt beat this offer tho and having to go to epson service centre with an old printer is certainly more hassle also.

Seems like plenty of purchases and no rep :whistling: lol

Col

i dunno, recycles ur old printer for you which is always good news!

But no, still doesnt beat this offer, its a good offer

Original Poster

plus delivery making it £28.16, not a very goog price really.

why not go here for full original set as already suggested in this thread?

mx2.co.uk/def…540

£19.99 and free delivery:thumbsup:

Col

i get free delivery from scan through the i29 free delivery for life that i signed up for.

but yeah, mx2 is a little cheaper, scan is next day delivery tho.

Original Poster

ok but most people dont get free delivery so would be over £8 more than at mx2.

mx2.com delivery within 2-3 days which is fast enough for me.

Col

Thanks OP, mine arrived today, old printer and scanner on their way to charity. Now I've got twice as much room on my desk to lose everything!

I have used this company for a while now to get ink and come highly recommended. When I bought my DX6050 was a bit disappointed as you couldn't get ink other than original, but I have just ordered some black ink at £2.99 and for whatever reason the yellow is only £1.79 as they have just started doing them this month....

ND Ink

Full set = £13.75 + a couple of £ depending on postage....

The yellow is now showing as £2.99 on ND Ink must have been a pricing error.

Original Poster

Would still buy originals personally since prices are low anyway
