Very good price for a top notch projector as I have one! Cost me just over £700. HDMI and monitor connections, awesome for home cinema and gaming with really good contrast, and unlike DLP projectors there's no rainbow effect during fast moving scenes and gaming. Spectacular brightness, you can get away with using on the wall instead of a screen.

Why? What relevance does it have to this deal?

because if someone was looking for a decent 3lcd projector they might see this and think oh that looks good, giving an alternative that's cheaper, better resolution and with great reviews will give more options. this is after all a forum where people are allowed to give their opinion.

Seconding that, 1024x768 resolution on this. Puts it firmly in the cheap business class. The only remotely special thing here is the brightness of 2600 lumens, but then my optoma hd141x beats that, costs less, and comes in at 1080p so would be better for home use.

I had the same optoma, it's lack of real brightness was why I upgraded to this beauty. Got fed up with not being able to watch things in the day without shutting the curtains on my floor to ceiling windows.

I just got the eh-tw5300 it's amazing I did have a eb-w28 3000 lumens but the quality with the new one is amazing I will just shut the curtains in the day but find it is ok anyway. using a computer to watch films I wouldn't get anything other than 1080p native though and Windows looks rubbish on a xga projector

I don't understand why your personal taste and buying decision is relevant to this particular product? It seems to me that you have a lower budget and so have gone for something less expensive, which is fine, it's just not relevant to everyone else. Money is not the only deciding factor in many people's buying choices.

are you having a laugh? you posted a deal for an Epson projector. I replied with what is in my opinion a better projector by the same manufacturer for less money. which in turn makes your deal cold. A deal must be compared with other products when deciding if it's a good deal or not.

looking at the other comments and the heat of your deal I am not the only person that thinks this is not a good deal.
