I know this might be a daft question but can this be kept without opening long term. I only recently filled my printer so this might be unopened for 8-12 months. I don't have any to see if they have a use by date on the packaging. Thanks. Voted hot OP

    From what I remember it's 2-3 years.

Silly question, are there any difference between the 104 and 102 other than the number?

I think the difference between 102 and 104 ink is that one use pigment black and the other doesn’t (don’t know which way around). Also the 102 ink has a larger bottle of black ink. I’m not sure if ink bottles would fit alternative printers.

Thinking about buying an ET 2850. Not had a good history with Epson in the past, still looks flimsy build quality. Anyone have experience with this model? The alternative is the Canon G650, but with manual duplexing and a naff scanner I'm put off. I don't really need the quality pics the Canon can do but I'm still allergic to the kind of crap I had to deal with from Epson before.

Would have a good colour laser but I need multifunction, need to use pretty heavy card stock cheaper lasers do not like and need to save space. I also don't fancy dropping £500 on a good laser that can do all this. So a compact inkjet is the tragic conclusion.

I’ve got an Epson 2750 and build quality is cheap & plastic, whilst features (except auto 2-side printing) are mediocre. However, it prints OK, usually works over wi-if without issue and is so cheap to run. You can also register for a free 3 year warranty (link on homepage under promotions or epson.co.uk/pro…nty).
