I got one of there projectors couple of years ago and is the best projector I owned so far. I have 10 samsung active 3d glasses for it also which I paid about £3 each. I find picture far better quality then my new 4k acer h6810. And best thing about it is the wireless hdmi transmitter so you dont need a cable running from front to back of the room.

Just saw it for £280 on cex website and definitely say it's worth every penny.. providing it has the remote and wireless receiver with it.

I bought an Epson tw6100w a few years back. Wireless is a bloody nightmare. Back and forth with Epson to no avail. Richer stopped selling them due to these issues. Avoid wireless, unless you go for a 3rd party transmitter/receiver. FYI, the suffix w indicates wireless.

Where did you get your 3d glasses from?

Only time I had issues is when someone walked by. Then it would pick up again. I did feed a hdmi under the floorboards before laminates were laid. Then the hdmi on the amplifier side broke from pulling on cables when they tangle. So I had no option but to use wireless hdmi. Worked a treat. Sometimes it's a nightmare. But then you realise theres something you missed out. Lol. The bedroom I set it up on is 17ft long and wireless reception is great.

I was originally looking for epson ones and they were £80 each. So I looked on avforums. I had a pair of glasses from my old tv and it worked so I ordered 9 more. Family movie night with 3d glasses is awesome. And watching blue planet 3d

I'd only sell mine if I replaced it with a more superior one. The 4k acer wasn't good enough replacement. So I'll wait for 4k epson to go on offer
Why is projector development so far behind TV? The 4K prices are still so high. Will upgrade my trusty Epson 1080p unit one day with a 4K.

Well. TV lights only need to travel 1-5mm where projector image has to travel 15-30ft at least to give up to 300" image. The lamp wattage, heat and the cooling system has to be really high tech. Things have gone a bit better now with the advancement of led and laser. Now we can get more than the usual 3-5k hours use.

Still. £1500rrp or £280 from cex for 200" image is better than paying £100k+ for tv that are 100".

When I had my first panasonic 1080i projector in 2004 people were using 40inch plasma TV. My bedroom cinema screen was 150 inch.

Now average houses have 55-65" tvs and my bedroom cinema is about 190 inch.. only way I can get bigger image is by putting a hole in the wall and placing projector outside

Cex have this projector for £1,900 for grade a and £1,700 for grade B
39997213-ZP2yB.jpgI'd buy it but I have about 6 projectors at the moment I need to get rid off first

So if anyone interested
I love projectors so I get a bit carried away.. these are not my listings. I should really sell first before buying new one

Still seen as a luxury niche market. If you can hide your screen behind a pelmet, as I have it'll get you past the gate keeper missus on grounds of taste. Maybe.

My wife was dead against our projector till I got it on the wall and hooked up GOT (before season 8 anyway) and was then blown away...

Search on aircraft dismantles or mod disposal. Not cheap though. Good luck.

Lucky you
Treated myself to a nice Viewsonic short throw PJ last year and it's one of the best things I've ever bought. I have an Xbox one X and PS4 pro hooked up to it and the picture quality is quite superb.
Projectors all the way for me now.
Can you get a projector with speaker for microphone? I need something cheap for group presentations to about 40 people in hall where lights stay on.
