What are the chances of a 1080p branded projector landing for £300 in the sales? I cant justify more than £300 at this time of year...kids and missus wanting stuff!!!

good reviews on Amazon. However, is this a case of price hike for Christmas? July 2018 £299

"Epson EH-TW650 Full HD 3100 Lumens Wi-Fi Gaming and Home Cinema Projector - White

Exceeded my expectations...

I’m no projector expert but I purchased this on prime deals day as I was looking for a 1080p projector. At £299 I thought this was a bargain so decided to give it a shot.
I have not been disappointed, the HD picture quality is superb, even in the day light.
I tried it on the wall and a luxburg 100 inch screen and I can honestly say it’s worth buying an actual projector screen as the picture quality seems to pop more when projected on to that rather than a wall.
You’ll probably want something other than the built in speaker to handle your sound as the fan is a little noisy but all in all an absolutely top projector!"
I’m new to projectors but I’ve recently been given Optoma Ew536. You can really see pixels and overall picture quality is not great on a big screen . It’s also 1080p.
Anyone knows how this one compares to mine?
Thanks for the advice.
What's the throw ratio? I'm looking for a short throw projector for around this price.
Also it doesn't look like it has audio out.

I have this projector, it's a good projector but there is a severe design flaw which is there is no audio out port. For what I've spent on additional accessories, HDMI to RCA splitter, cables, etc for a small bit more I could have had the Optoma HD143X during the Black Friday deals. Something to consider

On a 1080p projector like my Epson 5650 with a 120 inch screen you really need to be a minimum of 5m away or pixels and imperfections will become visible. I find 6m gives the best viewing experience. If sitting closer reduce your projection size.

I was the happy owner of the Epson tw5100 for 3 years with major heavy use. Last week the bulb popped taking the colour wheel with it and filling the auto iris cog wheels full of glass just out of warranty. Opened it cleaned glass from auto iris, bought a new colour wheel and bulb. Popped again straight away £130 down the drain. Looking at the Optoma Hd 143x now. Richer sounds do a 6 year warranty for around £25 so I'll be buying from them in the future

Was £289 on Black Friday
I’d hang fire as it will drop further... got mine for £289 a few weeks back on Amazon
I’ve got mine for £289 on Black Friday. Very happy with the picture quality. An audio out would have made it perfect. I have been streaming movies from firestick. I have connected the firestick to Bluetooth speaker.

That’s highly unlikely to be the projector and much more likely to be the source material.
Looking for a first time projector in a small study - 3.2m by 2.2m.
Would this be a good option for watching football, movies and occasional gaming in daylight onto a wall?
Still put off by the crippled audio options
anyone still find this for 349?
