If you want to save trees, then scanning and saving is the way. Just ordered this scanner which is being sold for around £240 anywhere else and there will some cashback via Quidco. It has a flat bed and a document feeder. It's also duplex, saves on fiddling with turning documents over, and wireless. Perfect for small one man band businesses.

Depends on your needs. The scanner only is perfect for me since I scan and save rather than keep paper copies. I have a separate printer

I don't get it. Why is it better?

Normally, a paper-to-file scanning solution is better because it comes with special software that automates and OCRs multiple documents. Is that the case with this scanner?

I'm not arguing, just trying to understand. I do have a multifunction printer/scanner/fax which I use for this purpose but would like to upgrade to another solution that handle multiple documents and provide a one-touch solution.
I have an epson wf2750 which duplex document scans.....sloooooowly....presumably this would be relatively fast
