This compact, easy to use all-in-one is great for printing, scanning and copying all your documents and photos. It comes with individual ink cartridges which save you money as you only have to replace the colour used.

Take care of all your home printing, scanning and copying with the affordable Epson Stylus SX110 Series. From high-quality documents to lab-quality photos, Epson DURABrite Ultra Ink delivers great results. Its cost-effective too, because with individual inks you only have to replace the colour used.

The Epson Stylus SX110 Series also includes easy-to-use software which brings out the best in your prints. You can remove red-eye and enhance images with Epson Easy Photo Print, while the new push-scan button makes it even easier to bring scans of old photos back to life with Epson Easy Photo Fix

If this has same mechanism as the 105 version then be warned that once a colour runs out you cannot print anything until that colour is replaced, regardless of whether you choose to print black only. So while I've always recommended Epson printers for their low running costs (compared to some manufacturers anyway) it was disappointing when my sister was stuck to print a letter due to yellow having run out.

Better I think :
SX115 at Tesco Direct (ie collect from store a couple of days later) for £34.97 - Product code 206-9698
Get there via a £back site, say 3% = £1+
Get Tesco Clubcard points too = 68 points, worth perhaps £2.72 deals.

The SX115 model can take TWO families of inks - ie the newer "8..." with smaller capacity (but cheaper, durh); and the more common "7..." with wider availability, and plenty of clones around.

re Garlum : that idea of a printer "out of an ink" not printing isn't by any means new/unique to Epson - same symptoms with ancient Epson model & recent Canon models = moral ALWAYS have a spare set of inks available (not expensive with Epson clones from 99p/cartridge).

(Noticed this as friend needed an All-in-one quickly last week and this is what he ended up with.)
