Printer Copier & Scanner.

RRP aparently is £69.99, been this price for a while, but a great Christmas present.

235 out of 261 people have voted this either 4 or 5 out of 5 - Can't be bad.

Ink costs are also cheep for this model, you can get a whole set of 4 in Amazon for around £8.

Epson printers rock, cartridges available so cheaply.

same price everywhere

not a deal

currys, pc world, dixons etc..

Have this printer and it is slow and loud. However the print is not bad and the ink is super cheap and it only cost me £21 from comet. Hot for me.

Utter crap printer - I've had two now in the last month - both have stopped printing after about 15 pages. I spent about £50 on an improved model and that's much better.

Any chance of a link for the printer cartridges that you can get cheap? I take it they aren't Epson ones?

Ebay...cartridges are cpl of £....decent enough print quality still for general home printing

I'd be careful of buying knock off cartridges as quality can vary wildly. Check a site that gives reliable reviews when making a choice on going for a non-official cartridge such as Amazon. Problems can include increased printer head cleaning which wastes ink and clotting from low quality pigmented ink.

I would recommend this printer myself for anyone that just wants a basic printer/scanner with low running costs and decent quality and isn't concerned about speed but bear in mind that for about £15 more you can get the SX235 which has wireless printing (supports Air Print) and is included in the current free flight promotion Epson is running

I had been running with compatible inks for over a year. The company I bought them from stopped trading and I had to buy a different brand. My printer head clogged up and now my £80 printer is only used for scanning. Please tell me which site gives reviews so I don't make the same mistake again?

Thank you.

Sorry to hear that, I would put in the cartridge name, so for example do a search for T1281 on Amazon's website and look for comments about clogging and ink quality in the reviews of compatible cartridges. It takes a bit of time and work to find a good supplier as like you, problems might only occur after some time. I would look for critical reviews as everything is always great until...

can you guys tell me whats the best 3 in 1 inkjet printer i could get for a maximum spend of around £120 that has cheap inks?

I have the EPSON PX720WD, great all-rounder and cheap to run. HP's are usually cheap and seem good value initially but ink costs are high.

is that the printer where you managed to get for £50 a couple of weeks back on ebuyer or amazon?

i have been tracking this printer down and im so angry that i missed out on that deal. amazon now sells it for around £135. the next cheapest is £99 from currys which i would have bought but its out of stock!

I got it under £50 for a refurb but that was pure chance. I think it's being superceeded by the PX730WD which seems to be coming down in price and can be found around the £125 bracket you are looking for so I would keep an eye on that one, as a consolation Epson are running a free flight offer on it which could make it even better value, 2 tickets if you pick up inks too epson.co.uk/fli…hts

Worth it just for the Original Inks.

Very good printer and scanner. Bought one ages ago and the quality is fine and the cartridges are cheap. Just bought three more for family at Crimbo so thanls and heat added.
