Thanks!

What inks do these take? I have load of ink for my sx115, be tempted with this if it means i've already got loads of spare ink!

hot

if you miss deals like this it is like harry rednapp missing charlie adam by 2 minutes

i cant seem to collect from local store / collection point. it keeps saying there should be an option for it but there is not. Anyone else had this problem?

Got this about a year ago. Great wireless printer, cheap inks on ebay. great deal

is there still woolworth stores out there ?

ah just checked the postcode checker, didn't realise they delivered to other stores.

Hot from me.
Just ordered one for the spare room, saves having the printer cluttering up needed space.

I concur...delighted with mine!

The cheap inks I have used were bloody useless. I had the same problem with my other printer when I used cheap inks. Maybe I've just been unlucky but I have now given up and buy Epson inks only, which aren't cheap at approx. £40 to replace all cartridges.

Just ordered one as my current Printer is very old and starting to well be crap. lol
So thought it was time i treated myself

Same price at Very - where you may be able to use one of their new customer codes + 8% cashback via Quidco

Actually, looks like same source from what I can see........[not previously aware]

HOT!

been watching this printer for last few weeks as price was sitting around £100, saw it on amazon Monday morning and purchased at the cost of £59.99. Slightly gutted!

I have got this printer ! Its excellent well worth the money

I can't see the option for the collect at store?

Yep, I saw that too - and get choice of stores, but when I try to go through the checkout process, there is no option to select this method of delivery that I can see ???

Of course, could always phone in an order.

Bought mine when they were about £120. Very nice printer and works a treat under Linux. Cheap inks work fine in it

bought at xmas when slightly cheaper through Amazon for about £45 and was a nice little self present, bit fiddly setting up wifi on the mac but now up and running it is $hit Hot!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks -dont forget quidco

I bought this on offer previous christmas and the black head died despite new ink and cleaning many times. I only used origihal inks.

Yes it WAS a fantastic printer for me but just beware as this is a known issue to users with no fix.

Google "sx515w black not printing" for info.

not sure if anyone is aware but 8% quidco on this as well

I find cheap inks are ok but cheap paper is not.

I have one of these too and it is a great little printer :o)

Can someone please post links for cheap ink for this printer?

thanks

From respectable sites:
stinkyinkshop.co.uk/aca…tml
Search amazon for SX515 and there are plenty of options.

You can get them even cheaper, but I don't know any verified sellers.

When going through checkout there is no option to get it delivered. I called woolworths and they said that if the option is not there on the checkout page then the item is for home delivery only. It might be worth updating the price to reflect the postage cost. Dont forget 8% quidco too.

Good find. If I didn't have my Epson sx600 (wifi AIO pinter purchased a while back when on offer), I'd snap this up.

Personal expericence of Epson printers I end up sticking with original ink. Others don't work as good/can clog up injet heads/ink fades faster and sometimes stinks.

Have recommended this to friends :). Heat added.
info from amazon

Also very good reviews on Amazon who have it for £59.93, as others have said.

hot...I had a £10 off £50 spend for very so got that and the cable for £46.95 delivered

Very tempted as they will deliver to a shop in the next street to me, but does it print on cd/dvd's can't seem to find any info.

Can anyone else confirm please?
Is it free pickup? my mate in london rang Woolies up and they said they charge for local pickup point..

Update: Just rang them up myself. and Yep! was told there's a £3.95 delivery charge whether I have it delivered to home or to Collection point, even though they don't mention it on their website.

Cheers

A little known fact about this printer is that it can use Epson Rhino extra capacity inks (3.4 times as much ink/cartridge) as well as the Cheetah ones. They don't cost that much more on Amazon and work out way cheaper and no need for fiddly changes so often.

Interesting post ! I have this printer but never knew that. Looks like a lot better option.

I bought one of these last november, seems fine and handles cheap inks ok.

I bought the following 10 pack from Amazon for £9.50 +£2.90 P&P

amazon.co.uk/gp/…uct

oh well had to give in and buy this as my current Epson MFP has definitely gone belly up after using a CISS system, poor ink seem to have clogged up the head. No free convenient collection on this item though.

Thanks Davey

i've had several epson printers.. and all have met an untimely death due to cheap inks. Problem is that i am only an occasional printer and cheap inks don't like that.

Will be sticking to originals from now on. Thanks for the tip about rhino inks. Are they the same size despite the extra capacity ?

Sounds like a great printer.

Yes the cartridge container is identical in shape and size, but a few grams heavier.
