Sorry you're right

Alternative:

BX525WD (same machine with larger supplied inks and slightly different supplied software) is currently £99.99 at Currys and PCW. The additional ink (double quantity) more than makes up for the difference in price.

Looking for a printer at the moment and contacted Epson to ask the difference between these two as looked same on their site.

Be aware too that the front loading design (for duplex printing) may mean you can't use heavier weight stock (eg for greetings cards). I understand Epson claim up to 300gsm (needs to be confirmed) but given the very tight paper path this is unlikely.

Decent printers though.

PS compatible inks are not yet available for these Epson printers with a '2' in the model number, though probably will be eventually. It's a case of printer manufacturers trying to stay one step ahead of the compatibles manufacturers to protect their enormous profits on ink (the printers aren't really profitable for them)
