Don't even need this. I'm getting it though, on Tuesday according to Amazon.

Thanks for that, I guess.

As an Epson engineer I can say that they are crap and will probably break within the 1st few months leaving you with a unknown refurb.
Great price
Any idea on the replacement cartridge cost?

Oh really... is that the same for all models at the moment? I must admit, I've been installing a lot of Epson's lately and I think the quality has definitely dropped over the past couple of years. Are there any models out atm you would recommend?
Was about to comment on this being an excellent find and how did i miss this...then I notice the countdown clock and Deal of the Day

Even if you get 2 years out of this it's worth it, replacement cartridges being so cheap

I'm not sure about this particular model, but I have an Epson all-in-one and I bought some compatible ink cartridges from Amazon for £6 for 16 cartridges (4 black, and 4 x 3 colours), and they've been working a treat. On the reviews, it said not to update the driver otherwise it won't accept them.

I have the WF-2520 printer- uses exact same ink cartridges. Compatible inks easily bought (1631-4) and cheap. Been using them for a year with no problems. Print quality acceptable. Will buy this as it has wifi which my current model does not have. Think at £29.99 excellent value for money.

That's interesting, I use an Epson with a CISS setup and have done for quite some time. Admittedly I currently use a HP for normal word / invoice printing, but the Epson hasn't let me down as of yet. I'm currently on my second HP in the same time scale.

Would not pay the going rate of £50+ going by reviews but at £30 I'll take a punt.

My printer has stopped working since upgrading to Windows 10.
Thnx OP,.. Saved me £20 quids.. This was one of the 3 shortlisted circa £49.99 printers in my list.

I'm guessing it isn't a workforce pro then?
Does this print double-sided (duplex)?

I'm assuming no, given it doesn't mention it on the product details.

We were on the initial release and the duplex gears are a huge weak point on them, and then the random will not self test and will not give an error code so it has to be swapped issue that they can't fix.

Never ever pull a paper jam back out or you have a 50/50 chance in killing it.

Mmm ditto...didn't think I wanted it....didn't think I needed it...in fact I'm sure I didn't need it but couldn't resist the little devil in my head telling me "it's cheap...you must buy otherwise you will contravene the rules and regulations of HUKD and be immediately banned for passing up on such a deal" oO

Shame as an Epson engineer you can't tell Epson to sort out the blocked nozzle problem that continuously plagues Epson Printers if you don't run off a print every two seconds....now got an R800 and an R1800 that won't print due to blocked nozzles....won't buy any more expensive Epson printers....

I'm just going off the DX models i've previously used, still going today, suppose we're covered with amazon for the year anyway.
Thanks ...just bought.... Ink compatibles any suggestions ...reliable and cheap???

Clean the capping unit as the seal is no good if it keeps blocking

You waive the rights to go direct to Amazon normally as it tends to fall under Epson's next business day or return to local center for exchange warranty.

But this is Amazon and they like to keep the customer happy

I had the same problem as you did. The easiest solution is to run a kitchen towel soaked in vinegar/window cleaner etc underneath the print head and give it a few rubs. Worked fantastic for me after leaving my printer untouched for three months. My Epson has now lasted me for two years and is still going strog.

blue windolene breaks down the ink (we flush with a ciss kit at the workshop to free up blocked heads using this) let the head move over during power on then pull the plug, soak the capping unit in cleaner and leave a wad of soaked paper towel on it for an hour, then clean up what you can leaving the rubber seal as clean as possible. if it has a rubber scraper use a cotton bud to get to it.

Can you use isopropyl alcohol? Did buy syringes and tubing to flush the nozzles individually but unfortunately the tubing I got was too...ehm...well stiff...and was struggling to get any rubber tubing the correct size to fit the syringes...oh take it you mean the area underneath where the print head sits normally?

Forgot my manners and forgot to say thank you to you for taking the time to reply...must admit I'm loathe to throw the printers out without trying everything to salvage them as they still have a lot of life in them....heads got blocked when I was seriously ill for a while and printing was the last thing on my mind so printers had lain untouched for several months...
Finding it hard to resist! I just don't need it. I have one of the lower end models, the WF-2510WF. Works just fine but I paid twice what this better model is going for right now Was 2 years ago mind you so it's served me well and the ink is cheap too.
I bought this brand printer. Bought cheap ink from eBay. Worked for a month or 2. Now refuses to print. Won't accept the Cyan Cartridge. Tried 2-3 different ones. No joy. Gutted cos it been used 2-3 times from new
I had been looking at this a few weeks ago but just bought the model up from this (Epson Wf 2650) from Amazon as one of their deals of the day last week for £49.99.

Would anyone know these printers well enough to say whether it'd be worth returning it and getting this instead for £20 cheaper? I'll only be doing occasional printing on it as well as scanning. Will probably use the photocopier a bit more but still wouldn't be anywhere near heavy usage. Thanks.

Before buying this printer, I was using a £30 printer from 2005~ which did me fine for the occasional print and scanning... This printer is absolutely fine and is good quality.

If you want a printer generally just for printing the odd page and such, return your WF-2650 and buy this one instead, you may as well save your self £20.
