Great price. Hot.

Very hot thanks

ordered thanks op

HOT from me !!!!!

Thanks OP, ordered.

Ordered. Old printer just about had it. thanks op

Excellent spot OP.
Been an Epson'er for many, many years due to availability of cheap 'compatible' non-OEM cartridges, and this XP-412 appears still to be very well supported with compatible cartridges [as wouldn't use for photo printing, not overly worried re <100% quality at say 5-10% of branded ink cost].

Don't forget some £back opportunities eg via TopCashBack.

PS: re compatible cartridges - loads showing XP-412 compatible on eBay [say target around 50p/cart delivered] including people I've 100% successfully used before with 4 past Epson printers; though good tip [post #10 below] re turning off auto-firmware updates to prevent future 'sneaky' compatibility issues!

ordered thanks op. been needing a printer for a while!

blumin hot

Had the previous model XP 305 for about 18 months now.
Had no problems using compatible cartridges at around £6 for 3 sets.
Make sure you turn off the automatic firmware update option when you install the printer as there is a chance Epson will update the printer settings to reject non oem cartridges.

l have this printer. and love it, it took a bit of messing about to connect to windows 8 but after getting help it runs good now and all wireless

Bought thanks- any recommendations for good compatible cartridges

Thanks OP, ordered, had been looking to replace my 16 year old Epson 640 color printer, which is still working by the way.

Excellent spot, just ordered one.

Epson printers are only cheap as they make the money back from the ink. a lot of new epsons will not take cheaper compatible inks.

Been looking out for a cheap wireless printer for a while. Thanks!

Link to compatible ink cartridges please?

Bought, been looking for a printer for a while and this seems to fit the bill. If I can get some cheap ink cartridges as well this will be great, heated my friend

Excellent find!

That's near enough the same as my printer and mine will not accept cheap cartridges. my inks are usually around £30 - 35 a set

Thanks alot Ordered, excellent find

Bought the XP-312 for £39 two weeks ago... and now this is at £34. Flaming hot. Purchase before it goes.

In my case, I called them up and let them know I want the 412 instead of the 312, and I have not opened it yet, so that's an extra £5 for a little effort.

They are also crap unless you use them regularly, and I mean every few days max. I have had so many Epson printers and each time I get stung by being lured in by cheap hardware. My latest was excellent for the first year or so, now 18mths in, the jets are blocked and refuse to clean.... no more Epson for me!!!

Cartridgelandinks.co.uk are a trustworthy supplier I've been using for a while now. Give them a try and you won't regret.

Plus, thanks once again for this deal it's nearly half the price anywhere else so probably the hottest deal this week

Ordered thanks ! My previous Epson is still going strong after 4 years (sx115) but fancied trying wireless ! £90 at Argos oO

Yikes have you seen their prices ??? £3.50+ for a delivered cartridge - the "real things" are only c£20/4pack street price ? I'll stick to my 90% off eBay 50p'ish suppliers.

Though Epson printers usually come with 'starter' style cartridges with less ink than their normal, let alone 'XL', cartridges [which is of course an issue to look out for with compatible non-OEM, and who you can trust, or not]. Otherwise this HUKD would be one c£28 pack of four regular cartridges [T1806 per Epson] with a £6 printer thrown in which is just TOO good a deal

Well you can get a 20pack on ebay for £8 so ill be happy with that :P

wish I could justify a new printer

They were the only supplier who could supply compatible HP which was actually compatible! Lesson learnt and I would never buy HP printers as their cartridges are too expensive and not easy to find compatible. Epson is however an easy to run all around printer.

Tallyho

My goal was c50p/cart (ie 90% saving) from someone I've used before - ie check EBay UK item number: 151210118750
They've fed my Epson Stylus Office BX300F for many years without any hassles, so I'd hope for same again.
(Though see my comment above [Post #32] about the capacity issue and who you trust re actual ink in a cart and whether it's really XL or not.)
