thanks OP

Shame it doesn't give a score (I know its irrelevant, but i like it!) Good to see everything looked in order on mine. Prefer Experian's layout though.

Go through TCB with Equifax for £8.92

Please note that the £2 Statutory Credit Report is not eligible for cashback.

Cheers worked for me. I had a report from this few years back and had my account with them. The code came in handy to generate the report for free.

Thanks worked fine

Worked for me nice tips!

Thank you

Voted hot.

Noddle is always free, but Callcredit (the CRA behind the Noddle) is smaller so they don't hold the same information as the other two.

Thank you, it worked for me as an existing customer after logging into my account. Voted hot.

Said I may have had a mortgage in 2003,and to select who with. during the security checks. Never had a mortgage.

Would not authorise me. Have to call an 0844 number. Not wasting the time or the money on the call. Back to Noodle, had no such problem there.

Never could understand why you would need to pay to see your credit score, I mean does it cost anything for Equifax or Experian to show you a credit score?

I'm trying to getting on the housing ladder but it seems almost everything requires paying for, a lot of which is a small fortune.

Im an existing customer - will they charge you when you log in again? Cos I had a 30 day free trial before and don't want to get charged £14+ if I log in..
Thanks

Thanks, mines all good!

Thanks, works for existing customers too it seems

I'm an existing customer too but not working for me . says code invalid

I'm an existing customer and worked straight away. thank you very much, have some heat

Great find thank you. Always worth checking these are accurate. If it's wrong ie you don't have a mortgage get it corrected now can be hard to do later and can alert you of identity fraud. Check it and correct it BEFORE you need it!

thanks for sharing

Great Find. Just in time. I was about to pay £2. Thanks OP. Have some Heat

Says code invalid for me

Great, worked fine for me, Thanks OP, heat added.

half an hour of my life wasted, after filling out the lengthy on-line form, was told to phone them to verify account, after answering several more questions i was told i would have to produce two forms if ID (which i declined to do) so they would not process my application, the result, they have harvested many personal details from me including my last three addresses, and i have received nothing, very crafty !

Existing customer and let me do it with no problems. Thanks to OP

How did you do it?

If I try to order the staturory report, it leads to a page where you fill in your details. In the end, it recognises that I have been an existing customer and asks me to login with my existing username/password. When I do this though, there is absolutely no option to order the statutory report, I checked everywhere and all the available products are the monthly subscriptions, credit scores, etc.

Seems odd.

Log out and click the link above then sign in.

OK, I managed to do it. Thanks.
You need to click on the statutory report page and then click on the login button at the top without entering any personal details. And if you login seperately in your account, you won't see the statutory report option.

Just use Noddle, you get one free report per month. Mine has everything listed on it, so not sure what the other person is on about re: Callcredit.

Noodle is great but does not hold not enough information.

Is it true if you check your rating a number of times it can act against you ? Bit like applying for CC's

I think they refer to this as a 'basic footprint' or something to that effect and shouldn't effect your credit rating.

There is a footprint that your file was accessed but only you will be able to see that and it has no effect on your credit scoring whatsoever

Amazing thanks so much!!!

Same here. I had to go in after e2save turned me down for a contract with talkmobile. They said I did not pass the credit check. So I had not choice but to go to equifax in case there was something naughty I did not know about. I also went to noddle who gave me 5 out of 5. Equifax ask ridiculous questions of which we are told not to give info away. I was put through to CS in Manilla and told they could not verify my identity and again they wanted me to upload info I am not prepared to do. They refused to let me speak to someone higher....yes refused.
No email contact for UK to be able to contact CEO.
This is a company who have been given licence to make financial decisions on people's lives and they wont even make themselves be available if one of their victims tries to find out what is going on.
Incidentally since filling in their forms I have bombarded with advertising and have got a bug. Coincidence maybe or maybe not.
Be wary.
If anyone has any help as how to challenge them please let me know.
