Seems a good deal, ok no SSD but for a brand new laptop with I5, GTX1050 doesn't seem too bad

Edited 7/8/19 - Ebuyer have knocked another tenner of this

I was thinking of getting a higher spec laptop than mine which is ASUS 6gb ram, I5-3337U, NVIDIA GT710M. I was going to give this to my kids. Anyway ERAZER is this a good brand? What about MSI which also seems to be cheap-ish?
Otherwise have been looking at other ASUS and Dells...suggestions? Is the GTX 1050Ti graphics card way better than the 1050?
Thanks!
£20 cheaper on box for this spec, or same price with an additional 128gb ssd

Was also >£50 cheaper on ebuyer ebay last week if you have a time machine

Try the GPU bechmarks site, you can compare two GPUs and it will tell you exactly how much faster one is relative to the other.
Try Trustpilot or other brand review sites to figure out how good each brand's customer support is, in case something goes wrong. All brands have horror stories, unfortunately.
Also, I've seen cheaper laptops with a 1050. There was a HP at 422 pounds the other day.

It really depends on what you are going to use the laptop for. If its game related then I would recommend going for intel i7 at least, this one has minimum requirements for proper gaming laptop when it comes to HDD and resolution, but I highly recommend just building your own PC then, you can build it stronger, since laptops are almost twice as expensive as PCs are with same parameters.
