This seems like a decent price for a very useful bit of kit, going for £22.99 on Amazon. Can't count the number of times that I could have used this in the past. Has decent reviews.

Can't say much about these but if they're anywhere near as good as the irwins then this is a great deal. Had a set of irwin ones for years and they've been used over and over again for various things like removing brake calipers and exhaust brackets etc.
good item excellent for removing wheel locking nuts

Would any of these actually fit a wheel nut?

Yes
Maybe I'm missing something, but aren't most nuts metric nowadays?

They will no longer be metric when you actually need to use these because they'll be all rounded off and mangled.

Good point. The largest size is 9/16" which is 14.68mm. Last time I checked wheel nuts are either 17mm, 19mm or 21mm and I doubt anyone would round even a 17mm one down so you could use one of these so No, they won't be any good for wheel nuts but very handy for anything smaller.

By the way guys if you don't want to round off bolt heads then always make sure you use a 6 sided socket and not the multi position one. Six sided sockets are miles better and usually cheaper for some strange reason.
Got mine today.Nice bit of kit.To small for wheel nuts.
I bought the Macalister range from B & Q before they cleared them out. Not sure why they stopped stocking them as they are a decent set.
Great price ordered thanks Op
Just bought these they work great on caliper bolts!
