In isolation these are probably good tools at a reasonable price. However, be aware that the batteries are not compatible with earlier Erbauer (pre-EXT) or WORX/Guild/JCB/Titan, which were off the WORX platform.

If buying any rechargeable tools from any brand you need to consider whether they are for stand alone use or whether it would would be cheaper and more convenient to standardise on one platform. Batteries are a very expensive element of your kit: you don't need too many or a whole range of types and chargers. Also standardise on a platform which offers all the tool types you need.

Yep good points there - if anybody is interested in this here is the range of compatible bare tools..

screwfix.com/sea…are

Worth weighing up the prices compared to other brands if you are looking at adding additional tools to the batteries supplied with this deal.

Reasonable range of workshop tools but none for garden. Will suit some users but I'll stick with my WORX ones which have been very good and include garden tools, all with 3 year warranty if registered (otherwise 2 years). I'm not knocking Erbaur but for me the platform is too limited. I also feel for people who invested in previous Erbauer tools (WORX compatible) but find they are no longer offered. If Screwfix still have any of the earlier batteries they are better value than WORX branded ones though.

That link shows garden tools including hedge trimmer, grass trimmer, brush cutter and chainsaw. There's even a lawnmower
Wouldn’t buy erbauer. Bought the tools a couples years back then earlier this year they changed the battery system to push the brushless tools. The same thing happened with the erbauer batteries and tool I have about 6 years prior. Battery system should be universal otherwise you will struggle to replace depleted batteries and have to buy new tools all over again!

You're right, I missed those. Can't see a lawnmower though.
