I had posed this loads before - Erbauer changes their battery system on a very regular basis. This new battery system is introduced around 1 year ago. The last ones were introduced around 4-5 years ago. They don’t intend to continue product support for older systems. Just do a search on eBay you will find loads of older erbauer tools effectively cannot be used as batteries cannot be bought anymore and cannot be used with the latest ones. So avoid like plague.

I ripped the gearbox in the impact driver within 20 screws, absolute rubbish, paid £50 for dewalt and they haven't failed me once
Cheaper on eBay.
Dewalt, makita and ryobi are the same price.... have the same battery systems for far longer and are better quality...
