I think this Erbauer kit is worth the money. Says it was £79.99, but actually it was £105 last year. Comes with 2 x batteries, charger, carry case and 2 years guarantee. Plus free next day delivery

Don't forget TopCashback / Quidco

The two batteries and charger would cost this anyway so hot.
Even ships with a fast charger, rather than one of the basic/slow ones. Hot!

Also the batteries on this one are interchangeable with any of the WORX 20V cordless tools.

Never had any trouble with this brand very tough and well made.
Thank you to all contributors for the info on here, bought one, a good supplement to my drill which is down to its last battery.
Hotttttttt thanks purchased!
Thanks, been after an impact for a while - hopefully can use as a torque wrench to for the occasional swapping of wheels with a 1/4 to 1/2 inch adapter
I looked at this last night as I have 10% off on orders over £30 voucher. It was showing as £79.99 down from £105

Anyone know if it comes with any screw bits?
Very nice deal. Had mine a few years now.
Tanks, ordered. Wanted one for a while

You need a drill, this is an impact driver
Thanks OP, ordered.
Hi, wanted to buy this and buy same company drill without battery as this has 2 but apparently it says in screw fit
Please note, the new Erbauer EXT range is not compatible with previous non-EXT Erbauer tools and batteries.

Not sure if this is new or not?

I don't think the battery with this will be compatible with EXT, so if you're looking to extend your tools in future you may struggle

Sorry but no. You need an impact wrench for that. 120Nm torque no where near enough - in fact it's fairly low for an impact driver.

Great value PROVIDED it will do the job you need it for.

I bought their brushless version with 150Nm a while back for just £29.99 but that was bare so not a fair comparison.

Looks like this is the old one so should be compatible with older drills (presumably not with the newer ones).

Not really. Bolts are only torque'd up to 120nm anyway so in theory this is sufficient. I always loosen using breaker bar before jacking up anyway so just makes it quicker removing and re-installing the bolts when removing and refitting wheel. I then always torque them up after using a torque wrench. I could use an electric drill for this job I know but I need an impact anyway as I am planning on removing all the loft boards to increase height of joists to put another layer of insulation down before relaying the boards

Thanks OP good price. JRW what adaptor would I need for wheel nuts?
Out of stock in Essex, shame.

Not really: the 'impact' is the direction of rotation, not longitudinal like a hammer drill.

Always use the right tool - especially when it's a power tool.

Yep, confirmed when I collected this kit. They tried the battery off the new type and it doesn't fit (staff didn't know until I asked).
Shame. Means the new ones are not compatible with WORX and others either. Erbauer is a Screwfix brand and it looks like they've changed their sourcing. I wonder who's platform they are now using.

Can anyone recommend a good /decent cordless drill, that is well made, decently fast charging and most importantly around this price range that can be used casually around the house?

Not in a rush for one, but any regular offers or price drop patterns will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

There is a Bosch 18v hammer drill that comes up almost once a month with two batteries and a fast charger for this price.

Screwfix? What price? I'll keep a lookout. Thanks
I can't find any in stock, Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire. Good price if you got one

Amazon usually - just search for Bosch drill on here and you will see plenty of old deals. Last Amazon was a boxing day one for £59.
