Use a couple of these in my shed / outbuilding- absolutely great bits of kit. Heat added 🏻

But they are the 240v lights with 2 cables to feed the lights .
The Battery ones are a lot more handy .
You can get mains portable lights cheaper .
How are these in comparison to the Diall ones that often come up?

Imo these are the better product. I prefer the form of these, the design works well. The light output and runtime are similar, I’ve used both but not side by side.
Thank's OP. I was going to buy the tripod version just a few days ago at £49.99. Glad I waited!
Ordered two 20w cordless and the stand. Already have the Dial lights that are excellent, but wanted the quick clip on feature that this set-up uses. Once ordered the stand alone in the hope to use the dial lights I already have, but they just don't quite fit so returned the stand. All this to add extra lighting for car detailing ! Voted hot
Thank you OP - gone for 10w wired light for £9
Cheers, will come in handy for camping etc.
I've read the rechargeable ones will still work while being charged.

They will do 75% brightness on mains but the battery won’t charge, or you can have them on at 25% and they slow charge.
Is 10w sufficient or should I go for 20w rechargeable. Working in dark

I have bought 3 40watt ones of these for my storage unit and they're unbelievable. Solved all my lighting problems

Yeah, given the price, I decided to get this set, but also one rechargeable. Just set them up, very impressed with the light output, these are the 20w, good knows what the 40w ones would have been like!

20w if you need to see the whites of their eyes as you're 'working'.
These are amazing, just collected 2 of the 20W ones.
Portable Work Light is surprisingly small, yet powerful.
Thanks op. I went to check brightness as more isn't always best. Got 10w rechargeable for working under the car and in the loft. Felt that was plenty bright enough. 20w too bright and risks squinting if using in smaller areas. Appear well built. Only complaint is little difference in two brightness settings. In future dimmer dial be great addition and I would have got 20w if dimmable
Can't beat portability of battery, already have basic halogen work light but annoying using extension lead, got wire caught in door before, gotta leave garage door open, pain taking wires into loft, all depends on potential use but flexibility of portable you can have in car, take camping etc
Do the rechargeable type use li-ion batteries?

<EDIT> Yes it appears to be

Excellent bit of kit, but Screwfix tried to palm off a couple of scruffy store returns, one of which had no charger! To start with they tried to give me the wired version...not a good experience. Hope the replacements are "new"
Ordered, thanks OP

I have got the 10w. Tested it and seems more than adequate. 800 lumens is pretty good.
Really well designed... excellent coverage, nice and bright (10 watt), car and mains chargers included, even has fold-out clips on back to hang securely on doors or whatever.
Picked up a couple today, 10W battery ones. Brightness is great, no leads is a bonus too, really versatile.
Picked up the 20w version today. Most supprised how solidly built the unit is. Looks to be a great buy. Far brighter than expected, illuminates the whole workbench area in my garage with ease.
Just bought the 20w great bit of kit, I’ve used one before
I have got 40w lights - They are amazing ! Far cheaper than of most other decent makes and bright at 3200 lumens (Top Setting). I bought tripod but have never used it and dont think I ever will. Light is so versatile, has got two fold away hooks in the back and can be positioned securely at virtually any angle. 40w gives out very bright light.
Will the hooks work in car bonnet?
Just picked 2 up, really pleased with them.
Decided on 2 10w rather than one 20w and happy I did now as the 10w is bright enough and I can have one charging whilst using the other.
Got a 20W mains one and it's very bright. Probably the10w better for close work, although the rechargeable ones can run at lower brightness (mains version just on or off)
Worth mentioning that they can also be clipped result on a ladder or beam with pop out hooks
Gutted that I missed this.. Does anyone know if they go on offer much?
Got rechargeable 2*10w and a 20w. Also bought tripod. With further 10% off. Great work lights.

Only negative is charge time is ridiculous at 5hrs.

I popped in yesterday to pick up some other bits and wanted one of these, was disappointed that the offer has gone, I must of only just missed it.

Hopefully it'll come back on soon.
