The Ergon grip with a 3-finger bar end provides a wide range of use, ranging from mountain bikes to fitness to touring bikes.

The bar end angle can be adjusted independently from the angle of the grip for the perfect personal fit and the bar end doubles as a clamp to lock the grip in place and prevent movement while riding. Like all the grips in the GP-Series, the GP3 eliminates numb hands, aching fingers, and tired forearms.

The GP3 is made from 100% German, TÜV-certified rubber compounds of the purest quality. (Carbon bar compatible)

I have these, love 'em
I need a pair of new grips but I've no desire to pay over £20 - I'm looking for something with an ergo design (that's what I've got on) that I can put on with my existing bar ends (I don't like these plastic stubby ones). The biggest consideration is grip - I've bought grips before and they're just regular rubber that seems a little too firm and isn't overly grippy.
Are the Ergon GP3 grip's worth the extra cost over something like this?

If they are both durable then is there any reason to purchase the Ergon GP3 version?
Have these on my Tern Pirate Ninja and they are great.
going to get these for my Brompton

Yes. I have those, and they're fine, but I bought them because GP3s were selling at £40-50 at the time.

The GP3s allow you to adjust the vertical grips independently from the angle of the flat grip. This is a big advantage for getting the hand position just right, which after all is what we want and why we're spending money on aftermarket grips to begin with.

I've just ordered a pair of GP3s here...
