Eristoff Gold Vodka 70cl £10 Instore & Online @ Sainsburys

I was in my local store picking up the Kraken rum on offer and noticed they had reduced all 70cl Eristoff vodka to £10 a bottle. Not a big saving for the standard and black, but the gold is over a £5 saving. Lovely vodka with a sweet caramel taste.

Offer ends 11th December.

Forgot to add, a lot of the bottles also had a label around the neck of the bottle for 2 free shot glasses

There, I've tipped the scale to 100%....

This is the 20% vol stuff, should be banned this stuff.............................

.................. for impersonating real vodka

Voted hot for the Kraken comment. Ha ha

you can't beat the kraken

Lovely stuff. Got a bottle the other day and with my discount and a £1 brand match voucher got it for £8.

love this stuff!

do you drink this stuff neat then?

Is it a sweet taste? I've had butterscotch schnapps before which was nice but a bit sickly sweet.

neat or mixed. With drinking it neat you don't get the usual vodka burn as it goes down, probably due to it only being 20%. Not that sickly, nice mixed with coke too, caramel flavour coke

Yep the black is the same - misleading as you would imagine it's the same as the regular stuff,or there abouts.
In fact it's just under 1/2 as strong and the same price.

20%

Why exactly does it matter if its only 20%? Surely it should be whether or not it tastes nice not how quickly you can get drunk drinking it?

nice, sounds an interesting drink

well,going 2 give,this ago!Not sure about the colour,lol!

Not really, drinking any bottle of relatively "cheap" spirits isnt going to leave a fantastic taste in your mouth, I dont know anyone who drinks vodka for its flavor and if they did they would not be buying £10 bottles in sainsburys. Its about the bang for your buck, you dont go to the shops and buy 2.5% lager because it taste nice, your drinking alcohol to get "intoxicated" if flavor was your preference buy juices.

Maybe not just plain vodka, but you would (I certainly do anyway) buy flavoured Vodka for its taste.
