What's wrong with them just using their hands and fingers...Your spoiling the children

Exactly. My kids don't use 'em. I remember coming across a research in America that there are digestive enzymes secreted from finger tips (when eating) which help break down the food (along with the enzymes in the mouth etc). So it's healthier, so long as you wash your hands before eating. We always do anyway.

Please note you may require ID. Seen these trigger the think 25 prompt but most cashiers laugh and carry on as normal lol.

1. This isn't true I'm afraid although a link would be interesting.
2. Why would this be healthier?

There is probably some merit in that your fingers, seeing how ridiculously sensitive they are, can probably recognise food so this may send signal to your stomach and saliva glands to secrete more saliva, juices, enzymes etc if that makes sense?

However there is nothing in the fingertips anatomically that can do this. I don't think we'd have very good fingerprints either!

Thanks, I will get these for my 3 year old who wants to use a knife, heat added

These are a nice set got them last year for my girls and there still going strong

Thanks. I've been looking for a set of small knives and forks for my toddler. I understand yes they eating with their hands is easier when little but come on. ... they need to learn how to use cutlery sooner or later. They can't be eating with their fingers when they are 10 years old can they! Nothing wrong with teaching them to coordinate using extra utensils to feed themselves.
my little one is 2.5 years now

heat added!!

We have had these for both of our boys and they are excellent.
