I actually researched that as well and here is what i found out:
You need Morrowind (the latest expansion) to play the game. This gives you the base game as well;
Gold gives you all the other 4 expansions (although there is loads of the game without them) it is 10 pound at game and gives you some ingame currency called crowns;

Morrowind is latest expansion and as far as im aware you need it to be able keep up with latest stuff happening (meaning you can skip gold); but you can play the game without it if you have the base game

ESO+ is a feature thats offered (a monthly subscription) that gives you the other expansions (but not morrowind) for as long as you are subscribed along side more ingame currency and other goodies.
The subscription is 15 pound a month and here is a link to what it gives you:

Also they both come with the base game so you can either give it away to someone or sell it.
Not that you would get much for it.

Also it's £9.99 a month for eso. Your looking at dollors.
Or can pay 6 months for £8.99 a month.
Well that's only worth it if it's all your going to play and spend money on coins. As I think it's £8.99 just for 1500 crowns which is what you get being a eso member.

No you get 1500 coins monthly; But yes its 10 pound which kind of makes it more worth it. But its essentially how long will you play this game - a month better of with the Gold Edition as you can trade it in/keep for collection; 6+ might as well go ESO+

Yeah that's what I mean 1500 monthly.
But if your gonna spend £8.99 on crowns you may aswell just get the membership for added bonus.

I'm gonna try get into it myself this time.

I initially picked it up to spend my game points and possibly re-sell it but im such a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls that the case is so beautiful and even though i have collector edition statues this one looks amazing!

Just picked the last one up in Gateshead at the metro centre
